Absolutely stunning and unique! I was able to stay in the Lincoln room. From what I gathered it was a treat! The bathroom was fantastic! Double shower head in a panoramic glass shower, luxury bathtub and separate sinks with plenty of cabinets. The toilet even had it’s own room. The ceilings had to be 15 feet or higher! Everything was clean with fresh towels and soaps available. There are historical pictures and ornate furniture. The owner is quite successful with all his degrees on the walls. The view was amazing with Spring in bloom and the grounds were very lovely. I was lucky to join the owner and other guests on Saturday for a delicious breakfast and gormet coffee made by the owner. There was a group from Germany traveling Route 66! There was a lovely older couple and friends. The wife gave me encouragement to get up and talk at my Grandmothers Celebration of Life. The owner even understood an accident I had. Thank you so much, would recommend for a special get away!

Loved everything about this place. Dan was so pleasent to deal with. He was accommodating and even invited us out to the porch for morning coffee. He worked around our travel plans and allowed for a late checkout. This was a very clean, quiet, relaxing spot to visit. Wonderful host with a beautiful home! We will be back very soon.

Beautiful property, great host, perfect value! I only popped in for a quick work meeting, but I will totally book again if/when I have to come back out. Hopefully, I will get to enjoy the yards during the daylight.

Everything was amazing.

What an amazing location. The amount of time that has gone into curating their home is beyond words. It was the most relaxing and peaceful experience I’ve had staying away from home in a long time. Dan made our stay so incredible and I cannot say there was a single thing that could have been better, other than getting to meet Cal. The Saturday breakfast was amazing, and I want to recreate it!!!!

It was squeeky clean, well decorated, and the bed was among the most comfortable that I've slept in that wasn't my own. We were welcomed on arrival and were shown to the many amenities the property offered.

It would be optimum to have a small fridge in the room for soda, water, juice.

The house & furnishings were gorgeous. Dan was very helpful showing us around. We especially appreciated the guest refrigerator; my adult daughter is a type 1 Diabetic & needed it for insulin & food. Written info on surroundings were great...much to see in Springfield.

Nothing.

The facility - as described in the listing - is "exquisite". But our experience was phenomenal - and will not be typical for others, as we were traveling to view the solar eclipse. Other guests were also en route to view the eclipse and had traveled from Spain and Canada. The host was exceedingly welcoming and facilitated an incredible cultural exchange of travel tales and ideas.

Wonderful stay! Didn’t want to leave! Dan is a extraordinaire host! Personable and makes excellent scones! And, he loved my dog, Amora-that’s extremely important!! Lovely country setting, enjoyed the hoots of an owl & bunnies frolicking!

Very beautiful home. The host was very welcoming to me and the wife and went the extra mile to help us the next morning with car troubles. We will definitely be back to stay at this airbnb. And the breakfast in the morning was amazing. They had a few neighbors there and the others that stayed in the house.great conversations with everyone that morning. I could only rate this as a 10 but if I could give this place a higher rating, I would give it a 100+ thank you again for opening up your very beautiful home. We also stayed in the Mary Todd room wich was a very warm and welcoming. The bed was super soft and loved all of the antiques displayed everywhere threw out the house

That we had to leave so soon.

Everything. We are senior citizens and have stayed in many places over the years. The Exquisite Victorian was absolutely in the top 3 of all our travels. We were fortunate enough to have the Lincoln room which was superb. Dan, the host showed us around the house and all the offerings. When In the area again, we will certainly stay at the Exquisite Victorian. We will recommend to all our family and friends.
