Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesI had contacted the facility by phone and my message to let them know that we would be coming a little early and ask if it was okay for us to check in about 2:00 and I never received a message back either by telephone or text through the app from the hotel. We were able to still check in early when we got there but it was a little disconcerting that no one responded when I had requested it initially 2 days prior to our arrival. On a second note the breakfast was just so bad. I know it is a complimentary breakfast but I've had so much better breakfasts at cheaper establishments.
The staff was very friendly when we arrived the hotel is beautiful on the inside very well decorated the room suite was wonderful. Always enjoy having a sitting area and a sleeping area separate. That's always a plus. The bed was exceptionally comfortable.

AustriaThere are very few hotel brands in the US that seem to be unable providing access to the internet, unfortunately the Fairfield Inn & Suites is one of them. We are frequent travelers and have been struggling with this unspeakable msftconnecttest access also at Holiday Inns before. You simply cannot connect laptops to the Wifi (cellphones are easier), which can be really awkward on a business trip with conference calls scheduled. Sorry to say - this is a dealbreaker.
Modern and comfy business hotel in pretty good location. Friendly staff, very well equipped Fitness room, beautiful indoor pool, great breakfast. Our stay was almost perfect, only the Wifi let us down.

United StatesOur biggest complaint is that we couldn't make the room comfortable. It was either warm and humid or freezing and clammy. When I asked for a printed receipt, the woman at the desk was not happy about it.
Breakfast was good. The workout room was only moderately equipped, but I'm glad they had an elliptical. The bed was comfortable.

United StatesEvery time we took a shower, bathtub drain would extremely stop up. We probably should have let the front desk know, but the main issue we were having was with housekeeping...because we had our dog with us, we were advised by the front desk person when we checked in to hang the "paw" tag to let housekeeping know we had a dog. This resulted in our NEVER getting our room cleaned NOR did we get clean towels. Our dog was never left in the room by himself; when we left the hotel he went with us. On Wednesday in the evening I inquired about fresh towels, I was told by the front desk that they would have housekeeping bring towels and clean the room Thursday morning. We were out all day on Thursday; when we returned we still had dirty towels in the bathroom, no clean towels, and no cleaned room. I had to go down to front desk AGAIN Thursday night to ask for towels.
Property is attractive and well-maintained. Beds were comfortable, A/C was lovely, room was clean, attractive and in good condition. Lobby was very attractive. Free breakfast was delicious!
