Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesFairly small/tight space for four people. No place to keep suitcases or hang clothes either in room or bathroom. There are two queen beds in a room but for that size, one would be plenty. Also, bathroom has no exhaust or window. Poor experience due to that. Made people using it conscious and had to open windows/door in the main room in cold windy weather to ventilate/air out. You can hear and smell everything from the bathroom in the main room. Wifi is not there in room or property. Didnt turn out to be an issue for us but could be for some.
Cozy and comfy. Cabins felt and looked relatively new. They even provided toiletries. Coffee machine was clean. Beds and linen were great quality and comfy. Freight train passes right behind property several times at night which reminded me of childhood (That noise Could be unpleasant to many). Also it is right on the US2 hwy so no time wasted in city. 20-25 mins to apgar. Price per night quite affordable given horrendous prices around gnp.

United StatesMy only suggestions are to add a waste basket in the bathroom and hair dryers. But these are minor things :)
It’s a great value property. They are renovating now and not everything is completed (like the cafe). But great care has been placed in crafting our room. The bathroom was brand new and very clean. The beds were comfy with nice linens and blankets. They have an in-room ice maker which is fabulous but if you’re a light sleeper you should turn it off at night. The room looks hand-crafted with real wood and nice carpentry. I’d definitely stay again.

United StatesWell it is right on the highway, (but a lot are) and the train does run behind it. In a way it in mountain living and adds to the feel. You get used to it.
I believe this facility recently changed ownership or not. It appears they might be doing some renovations. The restaurant is not open. But there was a tavern north of it that had good pizza. Not many choices for food, only due to end of season and very short staffed due the whole Covid pandemic hit some industry hard. It is about a 1/2 hour fro West entrance of Glacier National Park. The owners/ managers are nice.

United StatesThere was a railroad nearby. However, we were never awakened by passing by trains, because we were always in sound sleep at night after visiting the GNP during the day.
We had Cabin #2, which is conveniently next to the restroom/shower room. Although the restroom/shower is not in our cabin, we always find the restroom/shower room empty. The drive to the west entrance of GNP was a scenic 20 minutes drive.

United StatesThe train. The air conditioning was out but it was nice with the windows open and they provided box fans. It’s just dated and older but you can tell the care they have put into it. Don’t be scared to stay here.
It’s an older motel but you can tell the owners have tried to make it a nice stay for visitors to Glacier. It was clean and cozy. The floor creaked and the mattresses were older but we were comfortable. The bathrooms had nice hot water and updated shower heads with good pressure. It was nice to have refrigerator, coffee maker, ice machine in the room, tv with satellite, and microwave. Great staff and checkin experience. They treat you like family.

United StatesThe air conditioning was not working. We had a fan in our window. The road noise and steady trains behind the building with the windows open was as pleasant as it sounds! The cafe’ was not open either day of our stay. Not one cent off the price of the stay!
Clean! Coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave.

United StatesThere is no wifi/cell service/ air conditioner - neither did the surrounding facilities. It cooled in the evening which helped. There are trains that run through but we were too tired to even notice. We got up before the sun rose and returned late into the evening. We were there to experience Glacier and that's what we did. It was a blessing to disconnect.
We did not expect a cabin stay or separate bathroom BUT it worked out pretty well. It was clean and comfortable. We had plenty of towels, toiletries, and a parking. Darrin and John were very friendly and helpful. They provided great information in the area. The staff can make or break a place and they both made this place worth staying.

United StatesWe wished the Café was open. The lack of air conditioning wouldn’t matter about 350 days of the year, but we were here during a heat wave. Box fans in the windows helped - as well as the cool nights. Sure, no cell and wifi, but good lord, if that is a surprise after all the info on websites like booking.com and the reviews, then there is no help for those folks. Get ready for limited access to devices all over the park and this part of Montana. Enjoy the view!
Inn is easy to find. Owners are helpful. Ice maker in room is nice. Comfortable beds. Lots of space for parking!

United StatesThe nearest restaurant the Izaac Walton Inn about 8 miles east and a tavern with very limited eats similar distance west. Make sure you eat before heading back for the night as there aren’t many food options in that area.
We were visiting Glacier National Park and trying to find a reasonably priced hotel which was not easy this summer. The location was ok for us as it was about midway between East Glacier and West Glacier and we planned to visit both sides during our 3 day stay. Still we drove a lot and some people may find the area a bit isolated. The beds were very comfortable and the property was very clean. The bathroom was updated and the shower was awesome. Great water pressure. The satellite TV system worked fine. We never saw the owners. We arrived late and our room was open with the key inside and our stay prepaid. We did speak on the phone and they were very helpful and accommodating. We were very satisfied with our stay here.

United StatesWe would have liked to be able to eat onsite. The room was small for three people, but we managed just fine.
Glacier Haven Inn is perfectly located to access all entries of Glacier National Park. Our room had just been remodeled, and was very clean and comfortable. We loved being able to do laundry at the RV park next door. The restaurant is still being remodeled, so we missed having meals there, but we hear it will be finished soon. There is a train that passes behind the property, but it does not sound its horn (we found the sound comforting!). We loved having our windows open at night, as there is no AC. We were never too hot.

United StatesNo A/C or wifi! Housekeeping comes in daily, and there were no “privacy please” signs to prevent it. Housekeeping closed the open (screened) window so I came back late to a hot room. Essentially one nearby dining option; otherwise driving 20+ miles. Some Highway noise.
