Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesIt's very expensive, and $50 a night for parking is insane. The staff was mostly great, but the bartender in the restaurant downstairs was extremely rude to all the customers. Lastly, we had water leaking through the light fixture in the bathroom shower in our room, which was a bit if a safety concern.
Overall, it is a beautiful hotel that is close to all the action on Broadway. The lobby is grand, the rooms are nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable.

United StatesThe room was a bit small. The bathroom needed more towel bars/hooks. A complimentary breakfast would have been nice.
The room was very clean and had a great view of the city. Beds were comfortable. The location was very closed to everything we needed, and we were able to walk most places, but far enough away we did not hear the noise of the bars on Broadway. The staff was very helpful when we asked for recommendations to local restaurants. The valets were personable when we were waiting for our car.
