Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe only issue we ran into was the shower/bath never got beyond luke warm. By the time we realized this it was time to go anyway. Not a deal breaker just an inconvenience.
Had a wonderful stay. Friendly staff and a great shuttle to and from the airport. Being near to an In and Out Burger was a big plus too. If we come back to LA we would definitely look to stay here again.

AustraliaAppeared unprepared for our booking for 3 peoples:Had to make up the second bed ourselves and only one thin blanket was provided; only cups for two guests Poor visual directions to the elevator to the west wing. Front desk did not answer phone 3 times so had to go down in person and flippant attitude/apology from one person on the front desk. Locked out of room temporarily despite paying for late checkout; keycard did not work twice.

There is a 7-11 gas station, Ralph's grocery supermarket, in and out burger across the street. There is also a Wells Fargo close buy if you need some banking needs. But the hotel has an ATM by the lobby if you need. Just charges $3.65 per withdrawal. The hotel is close to the airport and they have free shuttles rides every 30 minutes

United StatesA couple of things that I believe needs to be addressed. Upon checking in I was asked for my credit card to place a $50.00 charge on it, even though the room was prepaid. I thought it was just a hold against any issues. However it actually was charged to my account. When checking out I inquired about this and they told me it would be refunded in 5 business days. That seemed to me to be a tacky business practice and made me question your motives. Are you working off the float that this generates? It just did not sit well with me and I am waiting for my refund. Also, the bar food offered is weak. You really need some healthier options. We ordered the sliders and I would rate them a C-. A pickle on each would make them alive as well as a simple remoulade sauce served on the side. Also a salad would be a nice addition as compared to fries.
We did have an enjoyable stay at your Fairfield property, and the staff was very professional.
