Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesFor most of our trips to the city, we like to be where we can walk to restaurants. The location was convenient and easy to access, but what will prevent us from staying there again is just the location of the property.
We enjoyed our time at the Hampton. It was in a good location for what we were traveling to OKC for and the breakfast hit the spot with my kiddos. They enjoyed swimming in the pool.

United StatesThe staff was not happy to be there. The day we checked in the young Man was okay but not great to deal with. The young lady the next morning should have stayed home as she didn't even look at us when we went to check out. She barely answered my question and was not helpful at all. The hotel could have been rated a 9 if the staff had been professional.

United StatesOne thing I didn’t like was a roach in the middle of the bathroom door floor when I returned to the room after my concert. I hate roaches!
It was close to the venue where I was watching a concert. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very patient with computer difficulties and a guest I observed being rude to her.
