How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The rooms were clean, modern, spacious and comfortable. The property manager and his wife were so kind and helpful. The views were beautiful, and the property was close to so many great hiking trails. The breakfast was delicious! Would highly recommend -- we had a great stay.

The room was light and airy the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, meeting the young family of the host the breakfast it's self was lovely sitting down chatting to other guest and the host. The location is great for Bryce canyon.

A very minor note: the mattress in the bed was a bit soft and got a bit uncomfortable after a while.
Wonderful welcoming family. Great spot to get to Bryce canion. Lovely breakfast. Definitely stands to it's name and fills you with a lot of happiness.

Room would have benefited from some additional seating
Location was perfect for access to Bryce Canyon. Staff were all super friendly and accommodating. There was a cute cat on the property grounds. Breakfast pancake was one of the best pancakes I’ve ever had.

The whole experience was wonderful. The place is adorable and there were little presents in our room. Not to forget the breakfast to this BnB is iconic! We loved the bed too, slept like a baby :)

Great BnB, well equipped and with a lovely family managing it. Thanks for the tip on doing the tropic trail (we combined it with a little bit of the queen's garden trail and then looped back with the horse path - great views without the crowds! Close to the park and there's also a good BBQ place in town

The room was a bit cold as it was really cold outside. To be fair, there was a portable heater available but we didn’t use it.
The manager, Drew, was great! Friendly, good cook (the home-made apple cider syrup was fabulous), and had some great tips for visiting Bryce. It was clear that the room had been updated recently; it was very clean, nicely appointed, and the beds were comfortable.

Just a few little things that could make my review a 5-star such as -the house manager could have kept the place a little tidier such as there was spilled breakfast cereal on the floor in the dinning area and it was there for around 24 hrs. The hall floors also needed sweeping more often as well. Nothing really concerning, just a few things to tweak a bit in order to make this place outstanding.
The location was great. It was easy to find, located in a quiet neighborhood, and very close to Bryce Canyon National Park. The hot breakfast provided was yummy and made getting out the door for exploring each day very easy. The room was clean and larger than anticipated. We had plenty of room to spread out. The house manager was very friendly and helpful. The common areas in the house were comfortable and well kept.

LOVED this place! Every person I encountered was so friendly. The new manager - I forget his name, ugghh - was especially welcoming and helpful. The mattress was soooo comfy especially after a long day of hiking. Don't miss the breakfast! I also loved to read about the history of the B&B in the guidebook and they have the old guestbooks stored in a dresser if you wanted to read what past guests left 20+ years ago. So cool. Tropic is a nice little town with conveniences and just a hot skip to Bryce Canyon and Kodachrome/Escalante.

It is in Tropic - a nice quite village with several restaurants but it is 20-25 minutes by car from Bryce Canyon main viewpoints.
Great modern chic property, arranged with taste, wonderful breakfast, nice terrace with hammock ( great for star gazing), convenient keyless access and access to all amenities 24 hrs to guests.

The only negative was that the house was very cold when we stayed. The evenings outside were in the 10-20 degree range, but the AC was on inside. We ended up closing the vent above our bed while we slept. Other than that, no complaints
This BnB was so cute and was at such a convenient location (just 15-20 minutes to the Bryce Canyon visitors center). The room was larger than I expected and very clean. Also, the breakfast was so good! Way better than any hotel breakfast I've ever had.
