THE STAFF AND ROOM SERVICE!! The night staff was rude and it took me 3 calls and a visit to the reception to get an extra blanket and 3 papercups! Roomservice - No room service even though we stayed for 3 nights. On the day before the third night, we asked for a room service and they just came in and gave us more towels. They did not take the trash out, they did not put away the used, dirty towels. Nothing.

EXCELLENT LOCATION. Everything in Chicago was accessible by public transport. Rooms were good quality and the beds were comfortable and clean too.

Some untrained staff or just unhelpful. Had to ask each evening for fresh towels as we never got room service, unsure if we have to request this as told nothing at check in. Need to update beds ?? pillows kept sliding down the open gap Tea drinkers , no kettle available, pal made coffee but had lumps from the cream so didn’t drink .

Had breakfast in the Weber Grill each morning , picking from menu n buffet , can’t do enough for you , lovely staff , great chef ( for fussy eaters ) , full drinks, cocktails specials and dinner menu in the evening too . Would recommend to try out. Rooms are large , fab shower . Clean on arrival . No wait on lifts . Security , you can’t enter the hotel / lift , in the evening without room key which was comforting to know.

I was told at front desk that housekeeping is not done to the rooms everyday. They told me that only if you stay 5 nights or more they clean your room. Only after I complained they cleaned the room the second night.

They could’ve communicated better and not give false information about what was going to be expected and wasn’t.

There wasn’t any breakfast which I was told there would be. The location was fine.

Accessing the lounge and breakfast area isn't very easy from room. Ice machine was broken and loud, room directly across from it and other guests were loud about their frustrations with broken machine. Smells of marijuana were prevalent in the restrooms, despite it being a nonsmoking facility.

Location was ideal for walking to sightsee. Property was extremely clean.

AC was so noisy and it was not possible to sleep with its noise. When i turn off it, the room was getting cold immediately:( They didnt clean the room 4days!! Unfortunately, it was not a comfortable stay. I preferred the hotel just bcs of the shuttle service to McCormick.

the pool was so small, it looked like a kid pool and not for a hotel. I was highly disappointed, likewise with the gym.

Staff was not very friendly. We tried to check in an hour before our check-in time and they told us they would be charging us an extra $25. Although I understand that this is their policy, it seemed a bit ridiculous considering it was one hour out and the rooms were clearly ready. Their baggage room only holds baggage until 5 pm which is very inconvenient if you have them hold your bags prior to your check-in time and have plans until after 5 pm. For a hotel these both seemed a bit ridiculous.

Property is conveniently located and relatively clean.

The restaurant staff are great but the lobby staff looked like they didn't want to be there. Not much eye contact or a smile, we found that unusual for a front desk.

The room was great and tidy, there is a restaurant downstairs and shops nearby. The location is very good.

Elevators are slow. No daily room service, although there is a sign in the bathroom that says they provide it daily

Decent hotel, well located. Rooms are good sized and clean. Having a pool was a plus (although it is small).

Pool was awful. No steps to get in and out very difficult to maneuver. Had to go ask for towels.
