It's not handicap friendly. My husband has limited walking or standing. So I used the valet area to go ck us in. I felt the valet wanted us to move on. I did leave the key incase they needed to pull the car up. Get in the escalator going down was broke or shut off. Parking is in the parking deck for the hotel and the three restaurants it has as well. Was told at ck out they would email me something to scan in / out of the parking ( didn't get until the next day) went back to let them know and this person just gave me a hard copy that I could use ( for us much better). Would be nice to have a bench outside for people who may need to wait for their car to come get them especially if you don't use the valet staff. It was difficult for us to manager with all the walking in parking deck and coming into the hotel from back entrance for us. It's made for people with no deficits/ limited abilities.

Nothing to put here except maybe a little pricey. But it was well worth it! Escalator down from 4th floor meeting space was not working so you had to wait a short time for elevators. No real complaints to be given.

Beautiful view from my very nice room. The staff was very nice and the location was perfect for dining in the downtown district. First time visitor in Norfolk, will definitely come back for a vacation spot.

The hotel and local city was lovely. The beds were so comfortable and the hotel was close to the airport and our destination. We liked everything.

The man that checked us in took extra precautions to make sure our room was right after having a hard time finding the reservation because of the booking.com ref number not lining up. We got in late (almost midnight) and very much appreciated the extra care and consideration.

Chose this location based on prior solo stays as well as staycations as a couple and a family. I love the restaurants. Building always has great vibes with friendly and helpful staff. Lots of places to take photos. 3rd floor has conference rooms and great decor. I made special request during the booking- all those request were honored (which hardly ever happens no matter how far in advance I book). Incredibly accommodating front desk staff. Loved the pool. Room was spacious and looked just as advertised. Couch was very dirty though. I refused to sit on it or even put my clothes or suitcase on it. That couch should definitely be removed immediately. We paid for the breakfast that comes as an added fee when booking- I could’ve done without it. It would be better to just pay a la carte when dining in for breakfast. The prices are reasonable and selection is slightly better than what was offered as their continental breakfast. Paying for parking was the only downside. Parking was the standard daily price but I think it’s just too expensive. Definitely paying for convenience and security of your vehicle though. I wouldn’t recommend parking on too many of the streets overnight in the area.

My room was very comfortable and the floor to ceiling window made it seem even more spacious. The attached parking garage was a huge plus. Staff was all very polite and friendly.

The set up was a bit complicated. Going to the front desk for a free parking barcode everytime I left and came back just created a bit of an inconvenience. I believe they’re switching meter payment systems, so this issue may be resolved soon.
