How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Bathroom was tiny - hard to close door when inside. Could have used a few more outlets.
Great value for money. Easy access to airport. Clean rooms. Good breakfast bar variety. Dogs were welcomed, they even had doggie cookies at check in. Super, super staff from greeting to leaving - check in clerk, breakfast staff, maintenance person, housekeepers - accommodating and friendly.

Breakfast was pretty limited with hot food being biscuits and gravy or bacon.
Very convenient location. We were surprised by the freshly baked cookies in the afternoon.

The breakfast bar ran out of waffle batter Sunday morning. It would have also been nice to have scrambled eggs and potatoes offered. The shower fixtures were a little old. There was not an extra blanket in the room.
Easy access to I5. Friendly staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Quiet.

The Tv in my room kept say no signal. Also the paper on the night stand that had the tv channels list did not work when trying to enter the number corresponding to the channel.
Really fast check in. Staff very attentive!

The rooms were dated, small for the price and the bathrooms are tiny. The TV Remote had no batteries in it.
The location was good, the Pillows were good, the staff were nice.

The room was extremely small. Bathroom was small, the tolit was very low. I'm 5'4" and it was lower than my knees. The shower was small. Had just enough room to walk around bed. Furniture was old and marked up. Room could of been cleaner. The whole room was small. Not worth the money. Have stayed at this hotel before in different room and was not like this. Would stay again but not in room 311.

There were cobwebs all over the bathroom vents and windows!
The front desk, Stephanie, when we checked in was amazing and so accommodating for my husband and I. He broke his leg and we needed a walk in shower and she made that happen!!

Only facility complaint was we found used cleanex under edge of bed. Woken up a few times by other guest letting their door slam shut. Doors should have Shutting mechanism to slow and latch quietly. Tv guide card didn't match to channels that actually got.
Could not hear anyone above at all. Laminate floor for pet friendly room. Friendly staff and bed was comfortable.

The heater was slightly difficult to figure out and let than I'd like. There was very little room between the bed and the wall.
One of the best prices I've encountered in Eugene.. Facilities seemed clean. The breakfast was better than average.

The price through booking.com. We had to stay an extra unplanned day, and by reserving directly through the front desk, it was cheaper than through booking.com

A/C unit was loud. The tv was in the corner not in front of the bed-awkward to watch.
The fridge was cold & the freezer worked great. Bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Room wasn’t very clean - had to clean out the shower and walk around in shoes. Could do with a steam clean. Elevator made me nervous with the thumping Can’t be local, this wasn’t really a negative as it was explained to help cut down on crime but after just moving from the area and needing to return for a night was a scramble to prove we weren’t. Staff was friendly about it.
Location- right off the freeway and close to everything we needed. Excellent water pressure!

The place had a lot of whear around the edges. Looks to me like this hotel is about due for some renovations. Inside and out nothing to serious but still looks kinda old and slightly run down.
The place was and look clean. The staff was friendly. Breakfast had some choices but your usual hotel standard offerings. Powdered eggs and can bacon not my favorite but edible.The coffee was good though. Fresh fruit was a plus.
