How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The breakfast was awful. I am gluten free, dairy free and there were not a lot of options for me. I also like meat in the mornings and there was not much.
Being on the first floor. staff was wonderful.

This location was away from restaurants, which meant that after driving a significant number of hours already, I needed to drive to get a dinner before heading off to sleep.
The facility was modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable as well. I liked the layout and it was a quiet stay in my room, which I always like!

Looked a little worn wall paper coming off in the room counter was broken cheaply fixed more worn than I felt it should look for only being a year. The staff was so unwelcoming not a good morning or a good night how’s your stay.. nothing the gal that checked us in was also the gal to check us out she was super friendly we only saw her those two times. Unwelcoming

Great location awesome rooms- very modern! Clean- quiet The receptionist Kenzie was the friendliest one of the best ones we’ve seen! Top knot h! Would highly recommend this place!

Room was not ready by check in time. Shortage of towels and definitely needs more pillows or a couple fuller pillows. The Jacuzzi tub was dirty and the floors needed swept.
Great location. Friendly staff. Excellent hot breakfast. Price was right.

Didn't get room booked. But was giving a discount. Room wasn't super clean couple dead flies. There was dog food on top self by bathroom door and floor was really scratched up. Maybe no more bad behaved dogs should be allowed and a better clean up.
Very nice staff. Breakfast was good. Room was good. Pool was heated really nice.

Breakfast was full and tasty! The bananas were a little brown and I was bummed not to see hard boiled eggs as some hotels offer, but appreciated the options of gluten free!

Being a facilities engineer I noticed the lack of any cold water in the bathroom sink. Not a complaint and doesn’t reflect on my rating of the hotel. Ran it for sometime to get cold water for dog
I didn’t eat but the location was convenient and the staff in the am was super as I saw more of them

No ledge in walk-in shower for soap and shampoo, had to put it on the floor.
No carpet in room, real blackout curtains. Fridge and microwave not in centre of room, off to the side by bathroom and in closed cabinet. Quiet. Very clean in room and hotel common areas. Luggage trolleys worked well, no wonky wheels making it hard to push. Loved that there was a movable table so my hubby and I could eat together. Usually in hotel rooms there is one little table with room (and only one chair) for one to sit. Lots of plugs for electronics. Wifi was really good

Only problem was noise from above with wood floors - ADA suites. And never did figure out the window shades.
Comfortable ADA room with lots of room. Wood floors made it easy to get around, but a bit noisy upstairs when folks made an early departure. Great breakfast, good service.

We weren’t able to have adjoining rooms. The one room we were given wasn’t cleaned which wasn’t discovered until we went to the room and found it not cleaned. The other room door lock didn’t latch tightly which we didn’t about til after we’d gotten in the room and settled. Toddler in the room so we’re quite concerned that the door didn’t latch. We had to keep it continuously locked for safety.

There are only blinds on the windows, no drapes. I felt a little “exposed”. We definitely woke up early with the light shining in.
Location was great; lovely property. Our ADA room was huge, comfortable bed and couch. Breakfast had options to meet our needs. Staff was great!
