We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThe dirty bedding. It hadn't been cleaned, or the housekeeping crew didn't finish cleaning the room. And mold on the curtains above the AC unit. Our room (210) was hard to get into. None of our 4 keys worked, and the attendants key wouldn't work either.
I like the size of the room. NON SMOKING AND NO PETS.

United StatesAn extremely busy weekend for the town made breakfast on Sat. morning sketchy by the time we got down for it around 8:30. Bathroom lighting was dim and bulbs grew dimmer as the weekend progressed. Sign in the room said linens would be changed every third day of our stay, which was fine, but there was no maid/room service at all; first time in my life the bed hasn't been made while we were guests in a hotel.
Bed was very comfy--even the pillows and we're really picky about pillows. Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Location was ideal for us.

United Statesthere was mold where the wall met the tub. the carpet had what looked like blood splattered on it. the sheets had hard places on them, that we weren’t real sure what it was. breakfast was from 6:30-9:00. we went to eat at 7:45 and there was nothing decent to eat. no eggs, soggy, smashed hash browns, juice that had been on the counter all morning and was hot.
it was a good location and the woman who checked us in was very nice.

United Statesno hot water to shower or shave, the bathroom faucet barely had any water coming out of it, the key refuse to work on the room entrance door 5 TIMES, the ac was so loud we couldn't sleep, the tv had almost no sound volume, I spoke to the desk worker about our concerns and she said, that is the room assign to us and that there is nothing she can do about it. I WANT A COMPLETE REFUND!!! Booking.com if I don't get a refund I will not use you again.

United StatesWhat I did not like: I could only take a shower, the hot water was cold and the cold water was hot (when turning on the shower). No one came to pick up the trash, so trash bags were just in the room and there was a trash bag sitting outside the door of the room before mine for at least two days and was still sitting there when I left Sunday. Also could your staff make sure that the sheets and bedding is washed thoroughly. This is the hotel where I stay often when I visit Gonzales and this is the first time that I have experienced so much disorganization and lack of attentiveness. I do realize that it was come and take weekend and the hotel was full; however, that is not an excuse for not tending to what should be done on a daily basis, also no guest should be put in a room that is not ready. No one should pay for a room and be uncomfortable or get inside the room and realize certain things are not working or not working the way it should. I just don't want this to become the norm because I really do like staying at this hotel. Thank you-Rachelle
