My husband and I both had a hard time sleeping on the beds. They were harder than we are used to.

The rooms were nice and clean and it was a great location. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful.

The rooms were dated and bathroom wasn’t near as nice as I thought based on the pictures. Dated shower and popcorn ceilings made the room feel old. The beds we’re comfortable but the box springs looked old and worn.

The ONLY thing was the showers were glass and with little kids it made nervous and water got in the floor east. That’s it.

Having to leave and come back home.

The breakfast and our view was overlooking the Peigon River, the big shower, close to everything, we could walk to eat a good meal.

My fist impressions was not good We arrived at 4pm & our room was not ready. The girl at the front desk was dry. No personality for this position at all. Thank goodness we only delt with her 1 time. The rest of the staff was nice.

The breakfast area was clean, I was impressed with real dishes instead if paper & plastic products. The breakfast was good although it was basically the same every morning. Sausage patties & links, scrambled eggs, potaoes , biscuits & gravy. It was good. The fireplace outside, sitting outdoors to watch the river & the ducks.. The maintence man was the best he gave us advise on restaurants & other things to do.

Didn't like the fact that I could only stay two nights.

Check in was swift and provided all the information required for parking, entrance into the building and the various amenities that were available. There were many subtle touches that made this Inn the best place we have stayed in in Pigeon Forge. The building was secure, clean inside and out. The door into our room had a strip of material around the perimeter blocking out light from entering or exiting the room. All of the appliances were housed in a wardrobe blocking annoying light from the microwave and coffee pot during the night. The curtains covering the windows were tailored to fit snugly around the a/c unit blocking all light intrusion at night. The room was extremely quiet. The beds were very comfortable. All these things combined to make for a relaxing night's rest. The hot bar breakfast provided by the Inn from 0700-1000 met every taste expectation a person could desire in the morning to include a diverse drink selection. The Inn also provided cookies at 1600 each day as well as fresh popped buttery popcorn with the same drink selection as during breakfast from 1900-2200. The popcorn could be enjoyed either in the dining area, your room, or more romantically outside around the large fire pit surrounded by 14 rocking chairs. The fire pit area also had a duck food dispenser that you could take advantage of and walk down a path to the river where you could feed the ducks.

The indoor pool was cold. I thought it was supposed to be heated but the water was cold. The room was very steamy though.

This was our 3rd stay at Inn on the River. We were with our baseball team and the property is easy to get to the Ripken Experience very quickly. The breakfast buffet is always a big hit with my family as well.

Breakfast every day 7 to 10, fresh cookies every afternoon 4pm, fresh popped popcorn everynight 7 to 9 and entertainment Wednesday night. Close enough to everything, but far enough away to be quiet sitting on the balcony enjoying the river and wild life.
