How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Only thing was the toilet was constantly running. The shower head had way to much pressure, it was rather painful. But those are just minor complaints. Very nice place.
Very Clean, comfortable and right off the Interstate. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay very much would stop in again if we needed to.

Only thing I didn’t like was that the pool bottom was super slippery and really hard to keep traction on, not Bc of algae or anything only Bc it was a painted bottom.
We had to stay here due to having a wreck and waiting in the insurance company to get things all together for us, I had 3 toddlers by myself, no vehicle etc. I was carrying 3 heavy car seats, two of the cleaning ladies grabbed the car seats and brought them upstairs for me, super sweet! Beds are comfy, room was clean, nice location, food, dollar general, grocery store etc within .5 mile, so we were able to walk there. When we were leaving the sweetest cleaning lady her name was Tina, she didn’t hesitate at all to carry a car seat down for me, and also offere my kids snack cakes etc. super helpful!

The only thing I didn't like was that I had to park way across from my room .because other cars where parked right in front our room.

The non smoking room smelled of smoke. I doubled checked it was non smoking and was told yes. Then I see the propery vacuum cleaning women outside smoking. Her body probably reeked of smoke and this parlayed into my room smelling of smoke. Not happy about it.

Gaps in the door, window curtains didn't close all the way. Toilet was cracked. Had a domestic screaming match next door. Power went out for 6 hours. Bedbugs bit me.
I like that none of my stuff got stolen. I didn't interact with the staff after check in. Water pressure was decent in the shower.

No wifi in room ( apparently due to storms ) wifi available by check in area only breakfast was dreadful room stank when we entered and very noisy would not recommend This is only bad review i’ve given having spent 14 nights on the road in 14 different hotels

My handicapped Mom could barely use the toilet because it was too short and the staff said they had nothing else. The mattress on one of the beds was pretty bad- felt and sounded like an air mattress. We needed a downstairs room (as My Mom could not climb stairs) they gave us an older room in the back of the hotel and said we would have to pay more for a recently updated room. I did not find the desk staff particularly helpful - perhaps she was having a bad day - we all do.
It’s wasn’t really a breakfast or even a continental breakfast……packaged sweet pastries…..not good for most people. The coffee was okay.

We were driving and tired, and it was late. My husband went in to ask about a room and the young woman at the front office was so professional, friendly, and helpful that we probably would have been content sleeping on the floor, with smiles on our faces. That was completely unnecessary however - the rest of our stay showed that the facility and the staff were all wonderful! Thank you!

The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Property was clean and comfortable. If you stay here and are looking for a good meal, try the Four Star Diner just down the street. Great food at reasonable prices.

This place is like a home away from home. Very comfortable and cozy. Close to Interstate 40 and casino. The staff was pleasant. I will put this place on my next visit to stay at.
