Pool noise. Speakers on and off at pool. Music was loud and too much with construction noise, trucks moving around.

Enjoyed Beach House breakfast included with reservation. Tasty and good variety. Pleasant staff. Coffee good. We sat inside. Double Queen room had good space, comfortable beds and pillows. ALWAYS love white bed spread. Shower hardware needs updating. TV didnt work but on site maintenance, Henry, came to fix right away at 9:30pm. Pool experience was enjoyable. Thumbs down on unexpected construction dust and noise.

Bathroom faucet was super loose, handle missing from cabinet, lampshade was busted, iron did not work.....all in all little small details ..that were easily overlooked...but... still obersrvible.

Pleased at how easily accessible the beach was. Room was fine... work out facility was not available which was disappointing.

I'm use to Holiday Inn Express where breakfast included. When pool area food/drink area is finish construction this area will be better. Direct TV issues, not all channels available.

The location is great! Right on the beach. We enjoyed the bikes the hotel offered. There's a gorgeous bike path along the coast.

I wish our room had been stocked with more towels

Loved the set up for our family of 3 plus a dog. Quintessential beach hotel, unfussy. Comfortable beds, good water pressure, Dove bath products. We had plenty of space and privacy. We are looking forward to visiting again when the new restaurant is finished. The breakfast buffet was good value combined with the stay and we were given vouchers for free kids meals for the entire stay.

No lighting in room -- very dark. Bathroom smelled awful from the moment we checked in and did not improve. Very unsafe trying to get to our room "oceanside" after dark. Hotel does not respond to Booking.com messages or questions from the guests.

Hotel does not respond to ANY booking.com messages -- We had asked questions about the pet policy and after no answer (3 messages over 2 weeks time), we tried to cancel the reservation. No response to that request either! We sent a total of 5 messages over 3 weeks, and Booking.com agents sent two messages to cancel. NOBODY RESPONDED TO THE BOOKING AGENTS AFTER ONE WEEK!!! The hotel finally responded to us THE DAY AFTER WE CHECKED OUT. Bathroom smelled like rotten eggs from the moment we checked in, we had to keep the door closed the entire stay. No actual lighting in room -- only one dim nightstand lamp btwn the beds -- that's it -- no other light source for the entire space. It was too dark to read, re-pack, or even see the carpet clearly. Property was fine, but has ZERO lighting to get to your room safely if you pay extra for "OceanView". We really liked The Beach House restaurant nextdoor -- they were great with our two little dogs and the food was better than expected. Excellent fish and chips and Low Country Boil. Breakfast was lovely -- small buffet, but everything my husband liked was on it.

The rooms aren’t cleaned very well. There are many spider webs in the corners with little spiders. The vent covers & window sills are dirty and a lot of the walls need to be washed or painted. The pool is out of commission now too.

Beautiful location with an oceanfront balcony. Amazing views & calming environment. Beds were comfortable, pillows were great, towels nice & soft. You don’t need to get in your car to enjoy the outdoors. Lots of good seating options. Great size room with many extras & great value for the price.

We requested and received a non-smoking room which was important to us since cigarette smoke triggers migraines for me. The room was great but we could not go out on our balcony due to the people under us smoking on their balcony. It would be nice if they had an entire section reserved for non-smokers.

Walkways were not lighted. The pool was disgusting and gross. Green and black algae everywhere. Could not see bottom of the pool. No complimentary water or coffee. Water was $3.00 and coffee was $4.00. What was advertised was not true.
