Countryside Cafe in Keaau was good and reasonably priced, for me portions were small, but just right for my wife.

There was a little confusion about using the Schlage locking system. The written instructions give to us stated that after the code, the bolt should be turned counter clockwise. That was incorrect. It should been written as clockwise. Also, there were no instructions about exiting and leaving the door locked. I was confused by the steps and I had to call the owner for instructions. Then it worked. Honestly, each time we used the code to open the door, it was a challenge. sorry to say.

The accommodations were wonderful. modern.

Everything was great! Your host and hostess were wonderful. It was unfortunate that we experienced a wet bathroom on our last day. It was out of our control, so you just roll with it. We differently look forward in booking again on our next family visit!"

Great location while visiting our family. It met all our needs, what a beautiful setting. However on our last early morning we woke up to a leaking ceiling in the bathroom above the vanity. It rained really hard the night before. We called Jeremy, he apologized and came over right away. Over all we had a wonderful stay. I hope it didn't cause any delays with the next booking coming in?

Water in kitchen was not really working, making it hard to wash dishes or cook.

Location was convenient to Volcanoes National Park. Place was clean and had many amenities.

It's off a main road that gets backed up by traffic. You just have to plan to come and go around the backed up traffic flow. We booked in well in advance, and the amenities had changed before our trip. Unfortunately, they were two of the items that drew us here. We should have rechecked current info just so we were aware.

They offered beach towels and a cooler for our use. On-site laundry. It's quiet at night. Very nice shower!

Overall, for most destinations outside Kona this place is reasonably close to many attractions without a added resort fee. This place is just like staying at home while on vacation in a quite little neighborhood.

Separate Entrance, Private Bathroom, Private Kitchen, Private washer and Dryer though we didn’t use it, gas AC . Easy to find from the main highway. Easy to check in instructions. Centrally located in Keau town and in a quiet neighborhood .

A paradise on earth. It was so enjoyable to wake up and to have breakfast listening to the birds. Many accessories in the house to enjoy our stay (towels,…). I already miss it!

Rural location means noisy wildlife at night, chirping frogs and birds but this will not spoil your stay.

The pillows were too fat, and we could not sleep on them. There were no other choices, so we wrapped up a couple of towels in pillow cases and used that for our pillows.

Location was great, the suite was great. It had all the amenities we needed.

No cooking stove/oven. Just a plug in burner and toaster but we were able to make it work. I don't remember if there was a microwave.

They have laundry room and all laundry cleaning stuff we need to wash our clothes during the trip. The laundry room was just next to our room and they changed the brand new washer and dryer the second time I used it. It was really really nice to us cause we only brought carry on luggage obviously we wouldn't have enough clean clothes for our entire trip. The room was clean and quiet during the night. The location was fine. It was not next to beaches but close to Volcano National Park. Compare to the prices of those resorts next to the beach, this place is definitely awesome!
