The room was dark - dark paint everywhere. During daytime the light comes in, but you don't want to leave a curtain open on the first floor where everyone can see in. Consider a lighter paint color. Also, the lighting was very dim in the bathroom - difficult for applying makeup. Housekeeping did not check the microwave - someone had left a dish in there. I noticed this as I went to heat up my coffee. Microwaves and refrigerators should be checked for contents when preparing for another guest to stay.

The location (close to relatives home), value, staff friendliness, and comfort were all very positive.

Paper thin walls. You can hear everything in the rooms around. Staff/hotel response to messages sent via booking.com messaging service prior to check in were not responded to. Dining area is in the lobby and doesn’t really work as an open space. More variety in the breakfast offering would be good.

On advertisement was written "newly renovated". My room 114 looks like it was not renovated for at least 15 years. It smelled of old rugs. The price for the room was adequately lower than other La Quintas, but the standard was lower than I expected from this my previous La Quintas accommodations.

A really nice place for a day in the beach, it is close to St Pete Beach and Fort de Soto which are lovely white sand beaches, kayaks, excursions, tiki beach bars and more… just for the half of the price of a hotel at the beach. Just 15’ minutes from beaches and 10’ from downtown St Pete

Other guest was loud and noisy in the middle of the night . Beds could have been softer than they were. We did speak with one of the staff and his justification was they were construction workers. What can I do to accommodate ur concerns
