We've stayed here many times. The breakfast is amazing and Barry's Cafe has excellent hamburgers etc. Happy Hour is good too. The hotel is right on the beach and the pool is heated. Starbucks is now offered in the lobby. Good parking. Good value. Three hotels plus Claytons are all connected so you can easily walk between Sand Rose, the Hilton, and the Marriott.

Yes they clean the rooms but they didn't change the sheets at all for our 7 day stay and with the amount of sand it got rough. Beds were uncomfortable and noisy. Bathtub was peeling paint and would barely switch to shower mode. They never refilled our soaps and shampoo. Beach proximity is cool but the bar and next door Clayton's was way too loud for my family.

I liked the proximity to the beach in this hotel. I also liked that the will clean the room everyday. The breakfast is above average for a hotel.

The road sign " needs"" to be fixed so patrons can see where to turn if arriving at night. The beds are too hard for my taste.

Pillows... pillows are too small and not enough cush. Woke up with a neckcrank. Also, the fan only worked with the light on due to the pull cord being broken. I'm one to need the fan on to sleep, so didn't sleep to well. Other than that...great.

The room is not soundproof at all, the entertainment loud noises were affecting the sleep until midnight on Friday and Saturday.

The only thing, I didn’t like was that the parking was full and we had to park in the convention center and walk over here. Sand Rose should have an emergency plan for guest. I suggest they should pay claytons for overnight parking at least when they are fully booked. I spoke to an employee and manager, because of that issue I was able to checkout till 1. Overall I Love the management and how they were able to handle our situation.

The proximity to Clayton’s bar, it’s hard to get a good nights sleep well they are blasting music late into the night. Parking was tough to find at times, I believe non hotel guest that are there for the beach take advantage and park in the hotel parking lot.

We loved that it was so close to the beach, just steps off of the sand.

I didn’t like the transition they are going through. Instead of things improving they are getting worse, for example the air conditioner is so old I’m hoping they are replaced soon. The pillows and covers look and feel cheap and old.

I loved the customer service. This is my go to place to stay when I’m in town visiting family . And the location is perfect .

My family and I were by the pool and had some belongings which included food and drinks on our table, and a gentleman who worked at the bar signed me out and said that I couldn’t have any of those items out and I needed to put them away. Mind you there was other people in tables with bags of McDonald’s and Whataburger bags, alcoholic beverages and chips. But he only addressed my out of all the people hanging out by the pool.

Staff were very helpful and attentive to all my needs.
