The facility, location, happy hour and buffet breakfast with wonderful views of the city and partial bay view! Staff were amazing. There was a library, museum, lap pool and some gym facilities. Easy walking distance to China Town, Union Square, Iconic Cable Cars, Ferry Building and other locations. The area is very clean. San Francisco has done a good job keeping the city clean and inviting. Law enforcement was present in Union Square area, which is a good idea, in my opinion, due to the past issues they've had. We chatted with the officer and he was very pleasant and helpful with questions we had. San Francisco is a beautiful city...come visit!

The woman checking me in late at night on Tuesday night did a great job finding me a quiet room near the water fountain on the 8th floor. I greatly appreciated her attention to my request and it made my stay perfect relative to the room I was originally booked into.

This hotel is in a great location. It's a 20 minute walk to the wharf. We loved the breakfast buffet. It was delicious. The whole hotel is a museum to our Marine Corps, and has a great library. I enjoyed it.

Unable to view the Marine Museum as a conference had taken over that area but their conference fees were far higher than my room rates so good luck to the Marine Memorial for their commercial accumen.

A buffet breakfast was included in the room rates and was good, albeit with an obvious American slant, and they offer residents a free "happy hour" each evening. Excellent value for money and as a veteran, it was nice that my fee for staying two nights was going to support other military service personnel and veterans.

It is in a congested part of town. Remember you are in the middle of a city and be patient with driving and parking.

Nicely decorated, very, very clean, and the event center was beautiful. It is close to great restaurants and parking is nearby. The staff actually offered service! It was some of the most attentive service by a hotel staff we have had in some time. The breakfast was fantastic and even had multiple gluten free options like muffins and pastries! We will absolutely be staying again.

We always enjoy staying at the Marines Memorial. At Christmas time it’s a tradition for us as well. It’s clean, quiet and the restaurant at the top is great to have - and views are top notch!

Room was a little small and basic, but had everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Given the ccost of the room for the location overall it exceeded our expectations.

A fabulous hotel in a great location to explore San Francisco. An amazing tribute to the Marines give the hotel a unique character. Breakfast was very good, happy hour with great views over the city was a welcome bonus. Staff were warm, helpful and friendly. Tremendous overall value.

Don’t have any king size beds

Breakfast included in the price and slightly discounted parking. That the costs of booking contribute to good cause. Good location to walk around San Fran. Rooms are clean but a bit snug. Hold luggage for free and staff are always, always so friendly

Excellent customer service from beginning to end. The attentive front desk staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay, and we did! Dining staff was also lovely and the included breakfast and happy hour were more than I expected. The memorial portion of the hotel is truly special, with dedications to brave Marines around every corner. Location is spot on too, with many restaurants up and down the street and walkable Chinatown, Union Square and Fisherman’s Wharf. This hotel is a treasure to the city and a great value to boot!

The air conditioning in our room didn’t work and it seemed they knew about it before they gave us the room. When we asked they offered us a different room but given the weather was mild we decided we couldn’t be bothered packing up and unpacking again
