Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CuraçaoI made two reservations back to back. Told to the lady at the front office that we would be leaving Niagara Falls and coming back. Still, when we came back they cleaned our room and moved our stuff to the lost and found, In plastic garbage bags. I did not like it at all, that they did not send an email or call, to see where we were. They said they did not know where we were. They did not see the next reservation. So they moved our stuff. And what about the payment I made? I paid for two days, to keep the room. They cleared the room. So I feel they need to refund the two days I did not have the room. My belongings were in the lost and found area. They put all the clothing that was in the room in a plastic garbage bag. Bad very bad This made me very angry

Hotel was beautiful, new, clean, modern. Beds were comfortable, definitely up to Marriotte's standards. Restaurant food was exceptional, the staff in the restaurant were fantastic. The two male staff that I encountered at the desk were absolutely fantastic, one in the evening and the other first thing in the morning at checkout (who don't need a friendly face greeting them in the wee hours of the morning).

The staff was excellent and friendly and everyone concerned that you were enjoying your stay. Its location was good to get to the airport as the shuttle could use side streets and avoid the freeways for the most part.

United StatesMy only issues were that on the morning I left, I asked the desk to call me a cab which they did, but they didn't tell me that the driver expected cash, so I had to spend an extra $5 to call my credit card into the cab office. Also I was told to expect a bill to my email but still have not received it.

United StatesThe restaurant does not have a liquor license, so they only served beer and wine. Parking fees are exorbitant; friends had to pay $35 just to have dinner at the hotel with us. Parking off-grounds is very difficult to get.
Hotel and room were beautiful and clean with a modern feel. Restaurant and lounge served tasty food and staff were friendly. The complimentary shuttle from JFK to the hotel was very helpful.
