I think the trend of 4pm check-in is poor form.

Accommodation in New York City is expensive and lots of taxes involved. This accommodation was the best value we could find and we were happy with everything. We liked the way the hotel communicated in regards to allowing an early check-in and allowed us to leave our luggage earlier. They even moved our luggage to our room before we arrived to pickup keys.

Really the only thing I didn't like was the fan / lack of control over room temperature. It was pretty hot in the room, even with the little fan on.

I really liked this hotel, it was great for a short stay in NYC. The location was fantastic for someone staying primarily in Chinatown / LES / anywhere in South Manhattan. It was centrally located and the facilities were great.

It is loud near the train station. But the windows are very good. Chinatown is difficult culturally.

One day the air-conditioning was on quite cold, and we could not manually change it, but we went downstairs to the reception and they immediately changed it for us. A little fridge in the room would have been useful.

The location in Chinatown was a plus for me, but might represent a problem for others. No safe available in room. No fridge in room but there is a shared one in the basement.

The room was quite small and no-frills, in line with expectations. Concerning the location, it was excellent for me but be aware that Chinatown is a peculiar district, not everyone might like it. Some noise from the nearby trains is decently isolated and did not prevent a good sleep. Friendly personnel.

The ONLY negative I can find is the window wouldn't stay wide open, so I had to use the curtains to keep it like that. I like to air out my room. But other than that I didn't have any major problems during my stay.

The hotel staff were very nice and cordial and explained everything. The room isn't the biggest, but to be expected in New York. The bed and cushions were comfortable. Just a 5-min walk from 2 metro stations, making it easy to get around the city. The room was always tidy and clean when we got back. Check-out was fast, and we were able to leave our bags at the hotel to roam around the city before going back to pick them up to go to the airport.

We got recommendation for the nearby places where to eat, have a coffe, breakfast etc. It was perfect for our 2 night stay.

Extra charge for some water. Tea or coffee making facilities would have been nice. The room was way too small. Even though you don't spend much time there, it would have been nice not to bump into anything all the time while moving around. You can definitely hear the traffic on Manhattan Bridge despite wearing earplugs.

The location was good, the subway easy to reach and some sights within walking distance. The staff was friendly and the bed quite comfy.

Maybe the detergent small was a bit too strong in the bathroom but it was clean so I could close my eye on that and the windows open so you can air the room

A little bit of a walk to subway stations, especially in the cold. Expensive deposit, more than one night's stay worth. Not many stores nearby that sell variety items (eg. snacks, soft drinks, etc.)

It was super cold in my room in the night and I could not regulate temperature. I swear it was below 65 and my comfort temp is ~73. I had to sleep in sweater and warmer pants. Just keep it in mind coming in winter.

perfect location, 5 min walk to two subway lines. Bed was very comfy, very nice personnel and very welcome! I enjoyed the stay and it was not expensive but I believe its normal price for Feb.

Lovely warm room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Room was serviced every day. Front of house staff friendly and helpful. Good location next to manhattan bridge which was great to walk across and not far from two subways.great value for money.
