Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe Wyndham are supposed to be nice. This is a cheap hotel and should be on par with a motel 6 at best. The paint is peeling in the. Bathroom. Stains In the carpet. 70's bad furniture that looks like it came from a thrift store. I got what I expect from 40$ mobile special..ifnits a Ramada or Wyndham the hotel needs to be upgraded. I.am disappointed for a Ramada or Wyndham

United StatesI have stayed here previously, and considered it a “hidden gem”. The property is apparently now under new management/been sold, and now it is a “hidden lump of coal”. 1. Upon checking in, I was assigned a room on the second floor. No big deal, but there was a sign on the elevator that it was “Temporarily Out Of Order”. The clerk said I could use the elevator, that it was working and she didn’t know why the sign was there. I soon found out, as I got in, the door shut, I pressed the button for floor two and nothing happened. After a minute or so of waiting, I pressed the “Open Door” button—nothing. I’m not claustrophobic, but I’m not happy, either. After another minute or so, the elevator starts to move. It stops, the doors open, and a lady with housekeeping is there waiting for the elevator with her cart. Only she’s on the THIRD FLOOR. Turns out the elevator started up because she called for it, not because I pushed the button for floor two. Later I saw another claustrophobic customer wild eyed from his temporary “incarceration” in the elevator. I have been trudging up and down the stairs ever since. 2. I get to my room and when I sit in the (folding) chair at the desk, it turns out it is broken. After unpacking, when I leave the motel, I tell the desk clerk I’d like a chair that is not broken. It’s the only chair in the room. I do some tasks in Williston, am gone for a couple of hours. When I come back to the room (using the stairs) the broken chair is still there, so I take it downstairs to the desk and ask the desk clerk if she had replaced my broken chair with another broken chair. She said she had not, because she couldn’t “do anything” until her manager arrived. I asked when her manager would arrive. She said she had called her about 20 minutes ago—not responsive—but I wasn’t going to badger her, so I just left the chair at the front desk and left for a few hours.

United StatesFirst room has stain on bed spread and crumbs in the bed. Sheets clearly had not been changed since last guest. Also, door to the room wouldn't lock and opened without key card. Staff was great and accommodating and moved me up a different room.

United StatesThe place was worn out. In need of a major update. The carpets and bed covers are stained. The pillow cases are yellowing. The lobby looks like it's still in some kind of renovation that was never finished. The breakfast was laughable. Cold cereal and a packaged muffin and I think a piece of fruit. I can't say exactly, it wasn't worth a closer look. This place could be nice. Some TLC would go a long way.
The desk clerk was friendly. He offered help with anything he could help with. He was accomodating.
