Rooms are outdated, for the room rate ($600/per night) we could get a Venitian or some other better hotel. No discount for overnight parking for hotel guests. Elevators are buggy, doors getting jammed regularly. Mini bar taken out of the room...

When we first arrived, we thought we had done the wrong thing, as Australians our laws prevent smoking indoors and it was extremely difficult to put up with the smell of smoke, i would hate to be an asthmatic. When we moved around, we found the MGM grand has a no smoking policy which i believe should be adopted throughout, they could have special areas which are vented to the external of the hotel for smoking guests only, apart from that we very much enjoyed the stay.

We enjoyed our stay and thought we picked one of the best locations in Vegas.

The reception area is very smokey from cigarettes in the casino. No refrigerator in the room but you can easily order one for extra charge.

Very disappointing when we went to get a player's card, a female staff member was extremely rude. When I asked her what her name was, she refused to tell me. Luckily, another employee was nearby, and I informed him of how extremely rude that staff member was. I don't know if she was tired or just having a bad day, but it was very disappointing. The second thing I didn't like was the fact that there was no refrigerator or microwave or coffee maker in the room. I take medication that needs to be refrigerated, and I enjoy having a hot cup of tea in the morning and the evening. I think New York New York needs to be more transparent and announce in some way if these amenities are not going to be available.

The hotel and casino are in a great location on the strip. I enjoyed the restaurants, Gonzalez Gonzalez nightclub, and It's just an overall good time in the casino with great music always playing in the background. Also, I would like to mention that the bell named Matthew, who came up for our luggage, was extremely kind and very helpful and super friendly. The few minutes we spent with him.coming downstairs was such a pleasure.

The smoke filled lobby and casino..... such a shame as it hits you when you first arrive through the doors and go to check in.

Cost for rollercoaster then same price again for any photos.. unable to get any photos of yourself on ride.

Location was excellent. Great to have a pool no towels needed & cold water available.. Great location could if fit enough able to walk a long walk to the Strat & a shorter walk the other direction to las vegas sign

The air conditioning in the room seems to shut off automatically when you're not in there. We had four adults sleeping in there and it was quite warm even though we had it set at 65° F.

I appreciated the lady at the front desk giving us a discount on our room because of our negative experience at the pool.

I loved the food court, the theme and the arcade. The food court is not only delicious but beautiful. The roller coaster is very fun as well.

The pool is very cramped with little to no room between sunbeds - that’s if you can get one! The location of the hotel is towards the end of the strip so it was a long walk to get into the center were most of our dinner reservations were.

The hotel’s interior downstairs was great and very realistic depiction of New York. Overall the stay in this hotel was pretty standard, not too basic but equally not amazing. Greenberg’s deli and the pizza shop were great places for quick service whilst some of the others were a bit disappointing.

We had put the "do not disrurb" sign on the door. Housekeeping entered our room anyway. It happened again the next day. Even though not only had we put the "do not disturb sign up, but it was written on the computer for all to see. I complained to management again. Each day I received monetary compensation. But nothing, in my eyes, could make the fact that we were personally violated, go away. I won't be staying at that hotel again.

The beds were so comfortable! Great options nearby to eat.

Noisy single glazed bathroom window. Nowhere to put luggage otter than the floor

Had everything we needed for a short stay. Liked the iced water in the lobby and coffee in the morning. Nice seating area. Friendly welcome on arrival
