Unfortunately the outside patio furniture needs to be replaced with brand new ones as well as the vending machines and cooking equipment. (You may consider buying some decent quality equipment from IKEA.) The outside sitting areas should be properly cleaned every morning including washing the ground. (Especially, seeing full cigarette trays every morning and throughout the day does not seem right.) I would appreciate if they stopped charging guests for parking. (I know many hotels offer free parking in the area.) I believe these things can be taken care of quite easily as long as the management is willing to spend some money for bettering the environment and does the task organization among the staff more fairly and equally. And finally, even if there is no one at the front desk, the guests should be able to call someone in charge of the property; please make this happen too!

My second time here and again, I truly enjoyed my stay. Very comfortable and clean room. Only 2-min walk to the beach. I especially want to thank Mr. Steve, whom I consider the most hardworking person I have ever met in my whole life. He does the cleaning, maintenance, laundry, gardening, etc. Basically he does everything! I truly hope that he receives either a huge bonus or pay raise (or perhaps, a title increase) soon.

The A/C was a little loud, but I'm a New Englander and not used to using one all day and all night.

Phillip and Steve were friendly, funny and very helpful. I wish I knew the other names of the workers.

A/c unit in living room was needing service and the poor quality of sleeper sofa which was reason for selecting the unit. We needed a second sleeping area. Could not sleep on that sofa for the poor mattress and support bars into your back. My caregiver friend ended up just sleeping on the seating area of other regular sofa.

The ac unit had no remote and the manual controls were turned off. I could only turn the unit on and off. Not a huge problem. The hot and cold water spigots on the bathroom sink are reversed. The hot is coming out of the right spigot. I spent ten minutes trying to get hot water out of the left spigot before discovering this problem.

Clean and the price is right. They let me log in early. I always use Ocean Drive Villas when I come to Hollywood Beach because of its location and the cleanliness and comfort.

I arrived at the property a little after 5pm and after a long day at the beach wanted to take a shower, however, there was NO HOT WATER, it didn't even get warm. I tried to call the office 3 times using the phone number provided via text prior to my arrival but no answer. Therefore, I was forced to take a cold shower. Needless to say, I was NOT happy. The following morning there was hot water so I can only assume the shared hot water heater for the rooms is not sufficient.

The property was in a great location. Outdoor facilities were beautiful and clean. The room was clean and equipped with everything needed. The bed was comfortable.

The guests that moved in on my last night. They were very noisy and loud at midnight and I was leaving in the morning at 5am for a 13 hour drive home, Also the leaders of Hollywood have ruined the city by allowing so much building compared to the quaint little beach town it was during the late 60s and early 70s.

Non-availability of staff at non peak hours. Not a big deal, but there was no pan available to use the oven.

Very clean room, proximity to the beach, beach chairs available, they accommodated our late arrival and let us stay an extra hour in the afternoon.

We stayed in an apartment for six weeks because we took our grandson for treatment at the Brain Treatment Center in Aventura. We were disappointed that there were no laundry facilities and an oven in the kitchen. We eventually got help from the gentleman at the front desk who allowed us to use the hotel laundry facilities. Overall we enjoyed the stay. Certainly value for money.
