Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesI hated that they charged $38 a night for parking. I told myself, well it’s Richmond so I begrudgingly let it slide. But the $10-$15 they wanted a DAY for WiFi blew my mind. I have never had to pay for WiFi at cheaper hotels and even motels. I also wished they had a continental breakfast, but it was the WiFi charge that bothered me the most. On top of what we paid to stay there, I couldn’t believe they would nickel and dime you so badly. The room was nice but very small and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned very well. Next time I will choose another location.

Swanky and fabulous, the Omni is perfectly located next to the Tobacco Company, as well as offering its own fun Porch for breakfast and lunch, a small gym, and a pool with a rooftop patio. So cool, upscale, and lovely staff. Parking under the hotel rounds out the perfect experience.

United StatesThe pricing in the downstairs restaurant are VERY high. It makes it easy to just step across the street to visit The Tobacco Company. However, the drink vouchers provided at check in did make up for the price shock when we received our tab for 2 shots and a beer totalling $90!
This hotel was more than expected and the rate is absolutely affordable. I felt like royalty the entire stay. The accomodations, staff and locale are the best by far I have experienced in Richmond. I love that we were provided a choice of floors as well.

United StatesThe bellman was difficult to understand although he was trying to be helpful. We asked for change to provide a tip and he acted confused trying to keep a $40 tip. We were trying to exchange for smaller bills. Yet he did not know how to count change back to us. It was obvious he was trying to keep $40. Eventually we worked it out. But it can be very uncomfortable when the bellman is expecting tips this high. WE only had 2 luggage, 2 coats and 4 shopping bags from the car to the 8th floor.
The rooms were clean. The hotel overall was beautiful. Disappointed in times that the restaurants were open/closed. However, there were many places to eat but you had to leave the hotel. Loved the view. The hotel registration staff was professional and kind. Valet services was great. Car was delivered within minutes. Team was professional.

United StatesMy room had peeling paint on the ceiling. Netflix casking sometimes didn't work and Omni members should have the fastest wifi speed. Also, the last 2 hours for the pool should be adult only.
The staff is excellent, professional, and yet warmly friendly, especially Chaunnette, that always makes me feel like the Omni Richmond is my second home. Also, Shote's Fountain was amazing holding down the front desk and making my guest experience personal! Also, I love the location, the shuttle service, and the pool.
