The Hotel is next to train tracks. 2:17 AM train horn wake up call was not in the brochure.

Decent continental breakfast. Wished there was a way to heat up the pastries. Only a regular toaster to toast a bagel or bread. No protein options like scrambled eggs was a little disappointing.

Room was next to elevators. Not as noisy as we thought it would be but definitely not an ideal spot for a room.

Friendly staff. Great clean comfortable room. Location was walkable to most activities.

Overall it was better than expected. Would have been fantastic if it weren't for the few things.

    - One afternoon while we passed the front desk, one of the employees was going over something with another employee who appeared to be a supervisor. The employee was using the F word right in front of me. - Breakfast was disappointing. The same gentleman worked the breakfast bar all three mornings, but he did not have any personality whatsoever and often disappeared to the back. It would have been nice if there was higher quality offerings even at the cost of less variety. Granola and yogurt bar, a hot dish such as a quiche, avocado toast, home baked goods such as scones or muffins. It took away from the experience. - Since your phone prompts suggest that you have a concierge it would have been nice if the front desk was more versed in restaurant suggestions, transportation know how, etc. - It would have been nice to get a written explanation in the room as to how housekeeping works, i.e. no housekeeping unless you ask for it. More communication in general would have been better. - Lastly, if you offer sugar cookies for guests it would be nice if we did not have to ask for them.

The Pool although it would be nice if someone can fish out the floating debris in the pool every once in a while.

The breakfast - iced boiled eggs with the shell as the only protein source. Why not more options, like scrambled eggs, sausages, meat, natural yogurt (not the ultraprocessed served ones), cheeses, bacon? We had breakfast only in the first day (we stayed 7 days). The other days, we preferred having breakfast anywhere else. The bathroom door - it doesn’t close properly, so it’s nothing private.

The comfort, location, bed and bed linen

Some staff not very friendly or welcoming. Breakfast was just okay. Limited choice and staff were slow to re stock. This is a new offering for the hotel so could be just teething issues.

My pillow had a foul odour that emitted when squashed, as if the air within it was rank. It seriously smelled like fecal material.

Our bathroom door had ENORMOUS openings on either side - so zero privacy... I'd avoid Room 610 for that reason. Really badly designed bathroom - it had great space, but zero storage space for guest's toiletries - we had to move the luggage rack into the bathroom. Not all bathrooms in the hotel are as badly designed. We had two rooms booked for our family, and the other one was great. Very little wardrobe/hanging space for a couple. Bed was too soft. While the location is brilliant for easy walking, the noise from the trains and the steamboats day and night was quite invasive.

Hotel is contemporary stylish, rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were super helpful and friendly, excellent location for walking the city. Little plunge pool was a wonderfully refreshing boost after a hot day of walking the city!

The only negatives were the minimal breakfast options, bar closing at 9pm and the noisy train early in the morning (although it wasn’t a biggie for me as I can fall straight back to sleep).

Location was superb. Quiet but not far from Bourbon Street or Canal Street. Views of the Mississippi and 7 minutes walk from Steamboat Natchez. A couple of minutes walk to the nearest street car stop.

No major complaints at all. I suppose if you are looking for a big pool, (we weren't there to swim) this pool os a small plunge pool. Small patio Looked like a great place to sit with a drink. Rooftop terrace is tiny but super cute! Really no complaints at all we loved our stay

Location was perfect, tucked in right next to the giant Westin. Beautiful clean facilities. Room was comfortable and pretty, bathroom spacious, great shower and amenities. Keurig and free waters. We love that you must request housekeeping upon arrival because the overall policy is not to enter your room for duration of stay. We think that's great because we usually have to leave do not disturb tags on wherever we go. Staff was pleasant! Didn't eat the continental breakfast but it looked fine. Really beautiful bar.
