Only pet peeve was the pool. It was kind of useless to us. Let me explain. Partner recently had surgery so couldn't submerge to much and pool started at I think 4 or 5 feet... this wasn't the issue, the issue was kids... There's no life guard or anyone watching, its was non stop kids in bulk running, jumping, bombing, in groups non stop. Non of there parents cared, but no matter where you moved to in the pool they came from every angle. Freaking annoying, so we only used the pool once for maybe 30 mins as it was pointless.

Room was incredible ! We wish we could have stayed longer having ocean front it was amazing and also super relaxing, specially at night. Super big, spacious, and different and views !!!!! Was sick to walk anywhere from the hotel and or go on adventures and tours. Abc store was super handy.

The $50/day valet parking fee is not included in the room rate. The hotel restaurant tends to be very busy, and the food was just okay. I don't have any other complaints.

Excellent location for families with children. It offers direct beach access and is less crowded than central Waikiki, yet still within a short walking distance. The room felt spacious with one child, and we enjoyed a partial ocean view. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

There wasn't anything I didn't like about the OUTRIGGER Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. My experience was truly exceptional, and I couldn't find fault with any aspect of my stay. Everything exceeded my expectations, from the location to the amenities to the service.

The beds sorry ….so hard !

Excellent location on the beach. We even had a seal visit for the day. The renovations are excellent. Loved our club Ocean front room. Staff incredible from the cleaners to the reception. All great.

Beautiful resort. Luxury well appointed rooms. Was lucky enough to get an ocean view. Staff were exceptional, friendly and very helpful.

They took away laundry facilities. Also, the adjoining restaurant (Monkey Pod Kitchen) no longer provides a 15% discount for guests. We decided not to dine there. The 7 cabanas, while a great idea, are so expensive to hire for a day that in the 6 days we were there, they were predominantly not being used.

We had a rental car for 3 days which we parked at the hotel overnight. US$50 per night to park the car plus tipping the valet was too expensive.

Checking in and out was quick and easy. We had 2 rooms (travelling with 3 teenagers) which we asked to be close and they were right across the hallway from each other. One room was a King with sea views and a balcony. This room also had a big couch which was great for all 5 us being able to hang out together in one room. Our kids room had 3 double beds which was perfect. Beds were comfortable. Wi-fi was good. The ABC shop downstairs had lots of useful items from food to clothing. Had breakfast at Monkeypod Kitchen which was lovely sitting right by the beach. Only swam once and found the pool quite cool. Used the couches near the pool many times for reading. The hotel has direct beach access.
