Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe bathroom vanity area was … Strange. No place to hang towels. No separation/barrier from the bedroom. No nightlights. An apparently broken off shelf or something under the vanity. The hotel hallways were very overheated, to the point of uncomfortably warm.
Good breakfast layout. But the coffee service after breakfast hours should make real milk/cream available instead of the flavored, sweetened CoffeeMate dispensers.

United StatesUber/Lyft distance from all the venues in the area. It had a full kitchen, and the bathroom was clean. We had a newborn baby in the room next door and literally couldn’t hear them cry at all! The sound insulation was great. Neighborhood felt super safe. Front desk staff was super nice and helpful!!

"May" the reception was very professional, pleasant, and patient, taking her time to help me set up my Hilton Honors rewards. The receptionist staff were friendly and made you feel very welcomed.

United StatesThe shampoo and shower gel bottles were not filled. And I didn't find out until I tried to use them. There is also not a full set of dishes and silverware in every room. This was a change from previous exceptional visits, so I think someone is just not paying needed attention to detail during that time.
My husband is disabled, and the building is very long. We chose to stay at the end with the car chargers (a MAJOR reason we stay here on most of our trips) rather than at the end with desk and breakfast, so we didn't get to breakfast. The EV chargers and the friendly staff are the 2 major draws for us. I also like the fact that housekeeping isn't automatic, but that it waits for us to call them. When we do, we get a lovely set of supplies.

United StatesSomeone with mobility problems might want to know that there are only 2 elevators separated from each other by a very long hallway. One elevator is at the lobby/dining room end and the other leads to the garage (crucial if you have an electric car). So my husband had to choose to be closer to his car and to forego breakfast. I did the hiking back and forth for trips to the lobby, which was just too much for him. It would be good to know about this in advance; if you have an e-car stay close to the garage elevator on any floor, and if you don't have special parking needs, stay on the first floor at the lobby end.
Modern, immaculate and well-appointed suites. Exceptional staff! Outlet to charge our EV. I won't be staying anywhere else on my periodic trips to Palo Alto as long as they keep this up. Our trip was complicated by a need to change dates of stay when we tested positive for COVID ( first time ever, even though we are both front line health care workers) and they couldn't have been more accommodating when we suddenly felt ill and needed to stay. They even booked my extended reservation for me when they could tell I wasn't well.

United StatesKitchen counter surface was not clean. 2 luggage carts for the entire facility. Coffee maker needs to be updated. Again, room cleaning is difficult to accomplish after covid.
Great hotel for a stay in this area. Great staff, excellent service, large rooms, everything works well. Plenty of plugs for the myriad of electronics we carry around. Full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher; bar-size sink and stove stop. Our room had a king bed in a separate bedroom with its own TV and a sofa bed in a sitting room area with its own TV. Also had a worktable with comfortable chairs.

I booked because we manage allergies and I need a full kitchen. The room was great. Front staff was great. Pool Was awesome even though it wasn’t heated our kids had fun.
