Car parking had very tight spaces when we arrived and it was busy, but better the next day.

Decent 5th floor room with a good view, comfortable beds. Wifi ok. Walking distance to restaurants.

    Room was small

For a budget hotel it's good. Plenty of parking, fresh baked cookies and coffee every morning in lobby, bed was comfortable enough, clean facilities, neighborhood is beautiful, good proximity to 23rd, Burnside, and downtown.

The Fitness room was very small with only three fitness machines, and it was dark and uninviting. My friend used it once and said not to bother. Instead we walked and walked and got our exercise outside.

Our room was on the small side for two people but fine - the beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean. The location was fantastic - within walking distance of the Pearl district and fun cafes, restaurants, the famous Powell bookstore and foodtrucks. We enjoyed exploring the neighbourhood and the owner gave us a number of recommendations for the Elephant Deli, Ken's Bakery Cafe and Kells Pub which all turned out to be great. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the complimentary coffee, tea, apples and freshly baked cookies were very nice touches.

Lots of noise from people next door and upstairs. Cold room, couldn't get the loud air-conditioner to warm it.

Very friendly staff, spacious room, clean, good coffee and great cookies! Easy to find, great location, especially if you have a car.

Toilet flushes slow/clogs no matter what (which is a hilarious nightmare for a mixed group sharing a room). Stairs/no elevator- (my fault; I didn’t think of that ahead of time to request a lower level).

Location is fabulous-seemed like everything we wanted to do was very close in proximity! Nice city view. I loved the free parking (vs every other property near the downtown area charges crazy amounts for parking). It was just a little bit tight, but most of our stay was during the week so it was only a challenge on the weekend when it was busier. Right by Washington park (gorgeous, if you stay at this hotel make sure you check out the park or friendship garden or Arboretum!), downtown eats and shopping are about 5 mins or less down the road, about 30 minutes from Multnomah falls and other nature activities. We loved the elephant delicatessen nearby, could have eaten there daily.

There was nothing to complain about.

A clean, tidy, comfortable, well-appointed motel with a great location just far enough out of Portland's CBD, but near enough to easily stroll across Burnside to NW 23rd Ave., with its many shops and restaurants. The reception staff were friendly and accommodating, the available parking plentiful (with wonderful suggestions from the staff about secure motorcycle parking), and the city view from the two-storey motel annex across the street is an added bonus. This hotel/motel is very good value for money.

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue we encountered during our recent stay at your establishment. Originally, our room was located on the first floor. However, due to significant noise disturbances caused by someone walking around the room above us, we found it difficult to get a restful night's sleep. The disturbances persisted until 4 am, disrupting our sleep and causing considerable discomfort. In light of this experience, we kindly request a room change to one located on the second floor. We believe that relocating to a higher floor will mitigate the impact of noise from neighboring rooms and provide a more peaceful environment for rest. Additionally, I would like to suggest the installation of carpeting on the second floor as a potential solution to minimize noise transmission between rooms.

The location was very good with free parking.

The fan in the bathroom was so loud they couldn’t use the phone at the same time it was on. The lightbulb was missing on the wall by the TV.

The front desk guy was so great. He moaned me a phone adapter and trusted that I would give it back. He said I could leave the car parked the next day so I can take a long walk. The alarm clock for 15 minutes off, so I was late for breakfast.

The upstairs guests were making a lot of noise in the morning just as we were getting up which we probably would not have heard if there was carpet on the floor! The bed made a horrific metallic noise every time you moved within it, only one bedside table in the middle of two beds.

Nice view of downtown, plenty of parking, friendly receptionist who was very helpful. Clean and good shower
