The room has a cleaning supply left when we arrived and the glass were dirty. The first day they didn't clean up our room even tho we specifically asked for. The staff is not at the level required for such a place.

I really like the outdoor facilities and the location. The ocean and the pool are fantastic. Also the choice of restaurant was great as well as the breakfast.

Extra fee for parking wasn't included in the rate (additional $25/night) and overall was a bit pricey in general, but worth it.

Beautiful property with all the amenities and awesome little beach/swimming area right on the resort waterfront. Very courteous staff and clean, beautiful rooms. Great sunset view from there.

- The hotel was very expensive and didn't meet my expectations at all. Compared to the other five star resorts i have stayed in, this was hardly a three star resort. This is not good value for money you pay. - The room was also quite worn out and wasn't cleaned well. - The staff seemed to be bored and wasn't very polite. At the breakfast place they just threw the menus on the table eventhough we had complimentary breakfast. That was very confusing. - And when we signed in, the receptionist didn't tell very well about the amenities and what was included in our reservation. - The pool wasn't heated

On 2 occasions we were out of our room by 9:30 AM and when returned around 4 house keeping had still not attended to our room making us wait outside until done rather than resting prior to dinner as we had planned. Also our family had ordered a cheese board thru the hotel for our anniversary to be delivered around 3, instead it came at 10pm with no card so we had no idea who sent it until the following day when we were called by a manager to inform us of the error and tell us if the card.

All the staff were incredibly polite and helpful. The grounds, pool and restaurants were exceptional.

Gets crowded on weekends due to people “resort hopping” and hogging up the pool. Resort had septic tank issues by our bungalow, constant septic truck up and down the path, noise, mud, etc…….but the resort manager reached out to us to comp us. Impressive that they took the time before I even made a complaint. That’s hospitality, and an establishment that cares

The only thing I that I didn’t like was that the staff who handled the towels by the pool didn’t have towels and were a bit rude when we requested them.

Most of the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Dinner and breakfast were great. We slept like babies.

The restaurants and bars are pricey for what you got.

We loved the pool and beach area. They are very conveniently close which makes it easy to enjoy both areas.

We did not get the room that we booked via Booking.com. After complaining we were given another room, but it still didn't match our booking. I believe that this type of room does not exist in this resort. The hotel also was not aware that breakfast was included in the booking, which made it necessary to complain again. I find it strange that an extensive breakfast buffet does not include a latte or espresso. Either way, you have to sign a bill each day and are also expected to tip the full value of breakfast. This is kind a strange practice for me... What also bothers me is that the hotel keeps amounts blocked on the credit card, long after you have checked out and paid the final amount. This is bad practice.

The resort is beautifully situated on the gulf side with direct access to the sea.The hotel is generally well maintained and various efforts are made to keep guests entertained. Both, beach and pool area are great and unique. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This was a once in a lifetime stay for us. We loved the pool and beach area. It was exactly as it was pictured in the advertisement. The room was clean and comfortable. Most of the staff members were very kind and helpful.

I think what could be better is less sand build up in the pool water and hot tub. I think it should be cleaned more regularly and swiped with a net more. It wasn't horrible, but the sand was a bit much. I also think that the Sand Bar and outdoor service areas should be accommodating their employees with a fans or mist fans to keep them cool during the hot season. The employees were super nice but were dying from heat and one of the servers experienced heat exhaustion while we were there. Please provide your hard working employees with ways to keep themselves cool.

Enjoyed our stay at Playa Largo Resort. The beach was nice, large pool and plenty of seating. We ate at the Sand Bar and food was good. Staff was friendly too. We had a double queen room with just a window view and room was clean and larger than expected so it was a good size for my husband and I and our 17 year old for 3 nights. It's also close to us (about an hour and 20 minute drive) so it's a nice little getaway for a few days without paying for airfare.

The food room service menu should be expanded more. La Marea needs some more gourmet meals like their delicious ribeye and mushroom risotto.

Very beautifully designed. Extremely clean and staff is extremely friendly who provided extraordinary service. The housekeeping team to the front desk and in between fantastic!! The waiting staff at La Marea so sweet and professional. My massage therapist Rocky was phenomenal and very sweet! We will recommend this lovely resort to everyone. The resort is close to everything excellent location!
