Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PortugalWe found two little spiders in the bathroom area. Hot water wasn't warm enough to fill the tub, but it was good to take a shower. The breakfast is served from 8 a.m., we had to check out a little bit earlier, and it wasn't possible to grab anything to eat. The fridge was very noisy and we had to turn it off. Weather outside was chilly, and we had to sleep with air conditioning on, which was noisy, as well.
Good location. Nice bedroom.

RussiaThe place was very clean, the rooms big, the beds comfortable. I visited off season, but the hotel was all full. The motel offers parking place and breakfast. The freakfast is basic, but still good. You can pick what you like and have it outside near the pool or in your room. It included tea/coffee, canned juices, oatmeals, cork flakes, muffins and hard-boiled eggs.

United States of AmericaDogs should be booked on the lower level only....guy above us was up running around and playing ball with his dog in the room until almost midnight both nights and up by 630 again...we would of requested to move but the hotel showed fully booked online. Most exhausting weekend getaway. Hotel was nice and we love dogs but seeing as they are unpredictable and can be active should be on the lower level to avoid disturbing other guests...
Muffins and coffee were good

United States of AmericaNot a dislike, but the motel is a good mile from the wharf area in the center of Provincetown. It makes for a lot of walking, but you can also drive your car closer to the center and take advantage of free street parking (if you get there early enough, especially in summer).
The property appeared to be freshly painted and updated, the king size bed was extremely comfortable, the room was spotlessly clean, and the motel-style set-up allows for plenty of free parking. We didn't travel with a pet, but the property is pet-friendly. We visited in April, so the swimming pool wasn't open yet, but we've seen it previously in summer and it's great. The free breakfast is light but satisfying -- good muffins, coffee, yogurt, fruit.

United States of AmericaThe Queen studio was a bit small, but they did manage to fit a microwave and a refrigerator. This was not really a problem to us because we spent most of our time out and about in Provincetown.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was super clean with a comfortable bed and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. Great location under a mile from town center, yet far enough out to be fairly quiet.

United States of AmericaLittle bit of a walk to center of town, so I parked in down town parking lot.
Had a newly updated room. The room was spotless clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. New towels, sheets, and bedding. There is a very nice continental breakfast included. They had bikes for rent, pool, parking, ... and other things for guest to use. I will stay there again.

United States of AmericaThe chairs in the room are a serious tripping hazard (a different style would fit better). The toiletries might have gone rancid; they didn’t smell good.
The location was very convenient. The hotel is pristine; very well kept and super clean. There are several amenities offered, such as a fire pit, outdoor games, picnic/bbq area, and a pool during the summer. The breakfast was good; the blueberry muffins are delicious!! The staff was friendly.

United States of AmericaIt is a bit far from center, but that's OK since PTown is such a fun place to walk.
PTown is an expensive place to visit but the Cape Colony is very reasonably priced. It is extremely clean, and excellent for families.
