Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesStaff refused to give me a receipt when I used cash to pay for the stay. I was overcharged approx $30. I had to leave a $100 refundable deposit. Breakfast is instant coffee, granola bars and packaged muffins.
The room was clean and I felt safe being there alone.

United StatesI reserved 2 rooms for the ground level as husband and I are disabled, or at least located next to the elevator. I asked for the 2nd room to be next to or close to my room. This did not happen, even though I called after I made the reservation to make sure they could fulfill this request, I was told "Don't worry, we will get your rooms next to each other and on the ground floor." Not only were we NOT on the ground level, but our rooms weren't even on the same floor! Also, my room was NOT close to the elevator. Room cleanliness was okay except the floor was dirty, needed to be swept and mopped. My granddaughter walked in the room bare footed and when she got on the bed, the bottom of her feet were black from the dirt! Also, when searching for a hotel, I included a full breakfast in the filter.... they only had grab n go bags. They shouldn't advertise things they don't offer.

United StatesThey room was really humid even with the AC on. The room wasn't comfortable. It didn't seem like it was really clean. Maybe the hotel was just old. The office chair was ripped and the recliner had a dirty cover on it. I thought it was overpriced for the quality. There was also a gap under the door. The shower head needed to be cleaned.
The front desk staff was really nice. The check in was a little long. They took a copy of my ID which I thought was a little weird.

United StatesI didn't like the check in time 😕. We didn't have a 24hr stay. Parking. Didn't have breakfast. If you wanted to check in early and the room was ready you had to pay $30 additional to chain early. This is ridiculous.

United StatesThe beds and pillows were hard. The pool was not at all heated, the hot tub was as cold as the pool was and wouldn't turn on. It looks alot nicer on the outside than it is on the inside. The rooms could have been cleaner, overpriced.
I really didn't like anything about it. I was really not impressed at all and would not stay here again.

United StatesThe location was bad as it was crowded and located near freeway. Also, the room was not cleaned, towels were stained with black markings. Tissue was limited and TV didn't work, not all the lights worked and was run-down. Also, too much traffic and noise throughout the night. It definitely was not worth the amount spent on the room. Room smelled like cigarettes, unpleasant.

Canadalast minute reservation for a child stranded in Phoenix, tried to call the hotel 3 times and got hung up.Paid for deluxe room with 2 queen beds and got one king bed. Child was already so upset because of an unsafe start to his trip, that he kept it as he was too tired. The next morning he asked if he could leave his bags with the front desk until later in the day, and got a flat NO, very rude, not helpful at all

I showed him the confirmation, he said it “says check in at 4 am” but would point to the sign they have on the wall stating check in is at 4 pm. i paid extra money to check in at 1 pm. plus they have no breakfast service.

United StatesThat it was next to an adult bar and rooms weren't as clean as I'm used too so it made me feel like they don't clean very well. Specially when it's next to adult bar. Bathroom door has cracks like someone was trying to kick door in , tub wasn't clean and the little couch inside the room has lots of dirt and lint. Beds were ok for the night but I still felt like I was sleeping in a bed that sheets weren't changed because of the other things listed above.
