How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I think the TV was a bit of a hassle because it was asking you to log into a streaming service or your google account to just watch basic free streaming.
I liked the overall cleanliness of the place for the room we got I do not believe they had breakfast but if they did I was not aware of it. I did like the space and the Lighting. The window shades gave a nice taste to the room.

I booked online and when I arrived I was told it was cash only, plus I needed to leave a $100 cash deposit. The lady at the front desk was rude and had bad breath. Then when I went to check out (and get my deposit back) I had to wait because the couple that manages the front desk were asleep. It wasn't super early either, it was after 8:30
The bed was comfortable.

Then entire place was disgusting, even thinking of sleeping inside the bed made me feel gross, i clocked in at check in time and clocked out 10 minutes afterwards. Id rather lose $70 than stay here, the front office was rude and the room is not worth paying for! DO NOT STAY HERE AND WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

The room looked like an hourly hotel, there were remnants of the previous renters still in the room,I found a bra cup in the tissue holder in the restroom, the tub looked dirty, there were chips and crumbs all over and even a used straw on the floor still. To top it all off, I was required to provide a deposit of 100 dollars, then when i went to check out, the manager actually went to inspect the room as if it wasn't already in horrible shape.
There's a gentlemen's club and a massage parlor across the street and the wifi was fast, also they have smart TVs.

Bait and switch the room from my reservation of $78 to $100 for a room that had a tiny bathroom & no internet yet he gave me a password for for nothing.
Absolutely nothing at all. It's a dive .

Dark rooms, bad lighting. Every piece of furniture from the 50's. Grass areas flooded from hoses with no grass. Internet is sporadic, TV's didn't work. Transients all over.
Facility is dark, damp and dirty. TV didn't work, internet sucks. Staff is pleasant

It’s in terrible conditions, you walk in and assume.. “someone died here.” It’s horrible, it looks like you stepped back into the 70’s based on the furniture, the beds, the sheets. They have carpet and wallpaper, my husband and I also had a king room booked and they gave us a 2 queen room. It was only one night so we sucked it up but without a doubt, never again! If you can stay somewhere else, do it. The tv remotes didn’t even work, the owner came up to change them. You also can’t park on the closest parking spot, we did and they waited until we had all our things while walking upstairs to tell us we had to move the car.
The location has a lot of POTENTIAL but they’re not doing anything to help it reach it.

the owner making toma y question and didn’t have change for the deposit and she kept my debit card as warranty
