Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The sofa had stains, the sofa throw pillows looked liked they needed to be dry cleaned(very linty) so i sprayed with Lysol. The patio door lock was broken and the tub was slightly soiled so I asked housekeeper for bleach so that I could be sure that I wasn't bathing in a Soiled tub. On our second nights stay we went out for the night and came back to our room key not working, so we made trip from 7th floor back down to lobby to get this corrected. We stayed in an Executive Suite , so for the price I expected the suite to be a bit more luxurious than it was.Had it not been for those few issues I would have rated my stay Very Excellent!!
We did not eat the breakfast . Our room was very comfortable and inviting,

Loved everything about the property the location the faculty the staff and the parking on site of the Hotel were all great! I will definitely be back to stay ….. everything in the suite was nice and the air conditioner worked good as well walked into the suite and it was nice and cool …. I recommend this hotel to people I give it a 10

I wish I had been forewarned we were being transferred to Dunhill. The only real inconvenience was the additional walk. Thank you for taking care of the mistake. This showed sincerity. I would recommend the motel again.

The bed was very uncomfortable. I am used to sleeping on memory foam and the bed slept like an outdated spring mattress. The carpet in the living room area was badly stained with something very dark. The room showed its age...wear and tear. Dirty tub grout, stained sofa bed. Details in upkeep were overlooked. The window view we received left much to be desired. Would rather stay at the other location in downtown Charlotte.

Hotel is in need of updates, furniture is falling apart, parking while on site was extra and confusing to reconcile at checkout/check-in. Breakfast staff was very rude. Mask required when you get your food YET not one single person cleaned anything in the breakfast area at any time when people are eating. Dirty tables, dirty mirrors. All in all the hotel just needs a face lift.
Location was quiet and easy to get to. Room was plenty big an we did appreciate that there was an actual breakfast severed as advertised. Eggs, Sausage, fresh fruit, bakery items, bread, juice, tea, coffee. Parking available at location.

The one bedroom suites with the queen bed doesn't sleep well and the pillows were awful. The bed was nothing like the King size, so if you are 6'2 and over don't even attempt to sleep in their queen bed it was horrible!!!!!!
The breakfast was just o.k. need to add more options like wafffles or bacon for the price of those rooms. it's a great location.

We had to use the pull out bed for our son. It was uncomfortable and hotel stated they were out of blankets for him. We had no hand soap in room on arrival, but was given some later. Staff refused to give a military discount. They stated that it had to be declared at check in. I used booking.com to make reservations and there was no option to note that info, so not sure if that had something to do with that. For the price, I was expecting a little more, especially with the pull out bed issues.
Breakfast was wonderful. Location for the Bank of America stadium was excellent
