Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Nice room!, convenient access, early check in and although we didn't use it - the ability to check out up to an hour later without being charged.

United StatesThe hotel restaurant/bar was closed. Although a room-service breakfast could be ordered, dine-in breakfast was not available. We were able to find a nearby diner with an early breakfast. Our room looked out onto a parking lot and city parking garage, and not the port and docks. At $278 per night, this hotel seemed a bit overpriced. We observed some vagrancy and substance abuse in the area, although we were not ourselves threatened. The historic sites operated by the National Park Service were not open due to seasonal closures.
This hotel is within easy walking distance of the historic Salem port, and of restaurants in this historic district. Our room was large, with two huge beds {one king-sized bed might have been preferable}.

United StatesThe restaurant in the hotel was closed for remodel which we did not know before hand. You could only order room service. Some things were good others were not. Food comes very quick which was great. Sometimes missing an item, no big deal easily got what was forgotten. Breakfast was very good the dinner was not. Dinner was cold and soggy.
Close to all things we wanted to see. Within walking distance. Updated, clean, comfortable room. Friendly staff. Keurig machine with complimentary coffee in the room was great! Housekeeping was good we got anything we needed no problem. The mini fridge was quite large and great quality.

United StatesIt was confirmed by Jonathan that we would have adjoining rooms for the weekend and when checked in they provided back to back rooms. Having kids with us we really needed the adjoining rooms. We settled on back to back as the only adjoining rooms left were over the ballroom and bar and I was told it was loud until sometimes 12-1am. We made it work but it was a bit more stressful for us. I appreciate the help we got from the girl at the front desk though she was very kind and really helpful with the whole situation.
They are updating the property and it looks very nice. The staff was empathetic even though accommodations that were confirmed prior to arrival were not followed through on.
