How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The place is decent, comfortable and clean, as is the food. But it really is overpriced. The pool is not fit for swimmers.

room was very noise next to the streets. the hotel hosted a pool party for non guests and it was disgusting ! people drunk and loud everywhere.

The bed was hard and old until marina house keeping made a plan and I don't know why the hotel allowd in party until 4am in floor 4 directly under me so I couldnt sleep
The workers, especially marna house keeping she is the best and adey front desk

They take alot of money from my card as extra deposit more than three time by mistake and when i come back to them they said its systems issue. Not recommend at all

Been using my card without my consent over and over even after complaining i have been extra charged and until now didn’t get a refund .I had my security guy that I brought with me one of the security guy from the hotel didn’t let him enter his room because they said the room wasn’t paid for … which it wasn’t … the elevator was very dirty and smelled like weed 😳 and much more …

I booked a king size bed deluxe sweet and got a twin bed room and it was very uncomfortable. I had to wait 4 hours for my room to be ready and this was after arriving from a 15 hour overseas flight and I was so exhausted.
There's nothing more to tell.

Confusing upper floors. My room was not ready at check-in. We waited at the bar and ordered a large meal…I expected at least a drink on the house as an apology at places of this level for our wait at check-in. Worse of all the hot water wasn’t working in the room ….they did promptly fix it though.

The cleanliness of the room was subpar. We tried order cocktails from room service and they had no options so we went to the restaurant at 9:30pm and there were no bartenders. The restaurant was supposed to close at 10pm. I started feeling under the weather and called the front desk to let them know I'd be checking out a day early. The agent was rude and told me I could check out early but I'd still be charged for the next day. The customer service was not good. I truly expected more from a "luxury" hotel. I will not stay here again.

I found the sofa in the living room of our suite to be too soft and not firm enough to provide any support and a comfortable place to sit and watch TV.
The service staff went above and beyond in providing a memorable and comfortable stay for my spouse and I, leaving a very good impression. Whatever issues came up, they did their best to resolve it as quickly as possible taking responsibility with professionalism and sincerity.

the room was to dark no any good like to put make up on, room smelled old or dirty. restaurant food not good at all. I payed $208 for 3 burgers two lemonades and one Caesar salad for dinner, I thought morning breakfast will be better but my avocado toast over $20 and never see an avocado toast like this before and all burned. service at the pool very poor the employees looked at us all the time we don’t feel comfortable to enjoy our vacation there.

They steal items like missing laundry clothes and even housekeeping bring youre stuff missing all the time. And its such a shame i have to say this but this hotel doesnt even deserve a 1 star. Front desk and housekeeping rare pick up the phone. And many valuable items went missing in that terrible hotel. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS NIGHTMARE HOTEL NEVER!

We got in late from a long flight and were pleasantly surprised with an upgraded room with a terrace. Loved the room, clean and very comfortable. The gym was also great. We will definitely stay here next time we're in LA!

More paper instructions for using the technology in the rooms. Some of us are not quite adept as others. For example, I couldn't make the coffee maker work.
Considering the corona-virus surge, the staff was extra-cautious but non-obtrusive in ensuring that their guests were well-protected. I would have to highlight the front desk crew and the valet parking attendants for going the extra mile.
