Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThat we had to leave and drive for almost 8 more hours. There is nothing bad I could say.
The staff was amazing, polite, friendly and helpful. The place is spotless and smells clean. The bed was soft and comfortable after being in a car for 11 hours. Food was great, I had no complaints. There was a couple arguing late, called the front desk and it was addressed immediately. Will definitely stay again.

First off, I love the location. It was only 12 minutes from downtown. We were away from the hustle and bustle but also very close to everything. The cleanliness of the facility/room was EXCEPTIONAL. Our room was a great size and very modern. The price was great and the staff were very friendly. I will be staying here again when I travel to Charlotte!

United StatesMany items were running low or out. There wasn't any fresh fruit. We ate breakfast at 8am and breakfast was scheduled to go until 9:30am. So, I really wasn't expecting to get the bottom of the barrel for the oatmeal and for several of the oatmeal toppings to be empty. If we were not pressed for time, I probably would have gone out to eat instead.
Staff was friendly and kept the breakfast area clean and tidy. The food items we ate were good.

United StatesThe day of check out the housekeeper Selma knocked on the door at about 930 didn't give anyone a chance to say anything before she proceeded to come in. She came back twice after that when check-out was at 12pm. We departed the room around 1130 just after the third knock. It was very rude.
I like the accommodations and the room was certainly clean. The bed was comfortable and I slept like a baby. I also liked that my name was on the television. The staff was very good and friendly with the exception of the housekeeper.
