Comfortable and clean

The only minus is parking. We arrived on the evening so a lot of spaces were full, we had to take some rounds around the blocks to find free spot. Not impossible to make, but definitely takes time.

The hostel was very clean, everyone was so respectful. The staff was amazing, explaining everything and offering help whenever needed. Even in a room full of beds you could feel privacy behind the courtine. Highly recommend staying there!

They keep the doors propped open for a couple of the dorms. I am guessing it might be to reduce how much people are unlocking the door or something, but with the door partly open you can hear all the noise from the common areas, even from the first floor. Probably good to have those closed during quiet hours.

The curtained sleeping space was great for privacy. Full size bed plus hanging hooks and a little shelf thing were great to have. It was very clean at all times.

Parking could be challenging. Besides, as a loyal customer to this hostel, I start to feel the facility starts to wear out.

A good value place to stay. I have been staying at this place in the past few years.

Locker 9 in suite 204 didn’t work to lock. I didn’t report it because I was in a rush & didn’t really have any valuables things to lock away. Otherwise, everything was great!

Everything! This is exactly what every hostel should aspire to. All the facilities you need, in a great location and clear written rules so that the stay is smooth for all guests.

The parking was a little bit hard for us. We still could find a place to park but if you wanna park close to the property it will take you time. And you have to pay for parking. But in general everything was good!

Each member of the staff was veeeeery kind and available. The structure is very clean and the mattress was very comfortable. Nice common areas to chill and or to have your meals. Nice atmosphere overall!

No parking space, had to go-around numerous times until a spot is seen but the mind set is not at peace with the parking, thinking it might get towed anytime

I wish the kitchen area was a little larger. It was difficult for more than one person at a time to prepare neals.

The pods were very comfortable, the privacy curtains are a big plus. The restrooms were spotless and huge. The staff was very efficient.

Trying to operate the storage locker was challenging. Finally put my luggage in my room space.

At night walking to the place in Market street from the Gaslamp district, you got to see the troubling side of San Diego. Many homeless people in the street.

It was very clean and had a nice atmosphere inside. It delivered what I wanted in terms of something simple, elegant and cost.

One staff member has an unclassy attitude.

They have washers & dryers and even have a coin dispenser for quarters.

Others aren’t mindful of the noise they make when they come in. Had ppl talking loud late into the night. Someone was on the phone talking really loud late at night as well.

It was a little hard to find. No nane you can see from the street. Uber driver dropped me off and it took me 10 minutes to figure out how to get in.

It was the best hostel I’ve ever used. I love the concept. I felt like I had a private room while sharing room w a lot of people. It was quiet and peaceful the whole time.
