Could use you more amenities like a full Kitchen for room service etc. and daily housekeeping.

Front desk staff, especially Jennifer, were professional, welcoming and very nice and accommodating! Bar manager was really kind as well.

There was a bare bones minimum feeling to the room - maybe the towels or soap seemed a bit meagre. The restaurant breakfast was awful - really motel level offerings.

There wasn’t the most basic hotel amenities — no iron, no coffee, no kitchen towels. The room was bare bones, not even a couch pillow, the couch was dirty. It didn’t look as warm/inviting as pictures

The breakfast was only bagels, cereal, apples, and oranges. (I don't eat bagels or cereal) Because I stayed on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, the restaurant was closed day and night.

The location was great! It's was just steps to the beach and was nice, quiet and relaxing.

it was nice but mostly outdated. Not enough beach furniture. There was a seaweed storm. not pretty.

food and drinks seemed a bit pricey. we went to the pool and there were no pool towels. we inquired 3 times with different staff and never got towels. we had to use small hand towels from the work out room to dry off.

I love the old vintage feel. it was clean and our room was nice and spacious. we stayed in a 2 bed 2 bath with a balcony overlooking the ocean. loved our view! went out for dinner to Dave’s Last Resort and Oyster Bar, great food and was fun sitting outside. another fun location and so close to our hotel.

it looked like the room was not cleaned before our arrival. the floor in the master bedroom was full of send and there was hair in the shower. after one day i wanted to use the oven and there was a dirty plate inside. there was not any dish soap not for the sink dishes and not for the dishwasher, we had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper....and for the price we paid i would expect to have coffee in the room. there was not enough shade at the sea shore, i think they should get 2 more shades for the sea shore and 2 more canopies for the pool.

we did not go to breakfast since the time of the breakfast was very short. the apartment was beautiful, the beds were clean and tidy, the design looks great. the location is amazing and the stuff was very kind and helpful.

The manager, Robert, is amazing. I was double charged (once by Booking.com and once by the hotel) Robert managed to sort this out for which I am greatful as I have a couple of these same problems outstanding with other Booking.com reservations

Nooooo service at all! Staff very unhelpful…building old, dirty and in desperate need of maintenance and repair !!! Bfast was terrible ! Outdoor furniture non existing few piece dirty and/or rusted .. loungers on beach cushions so dirty …have to cover it in full with towels which they didn’t have ! Spend 5 min sitting on the edge of the loungers! Location is okay but facilities none…zero !! Terrible atmosphere!

The staff and services were non-existing, no service or assistance in any regard ! Window was broken and standing on the floor, staff which I eventually got hold of said it was our problem, they can’t fix, we were on the ground floor with no window… it was hot and AC didn’t even make a difference to room temp. Acon was old, make such a noise that we had to eventually put it off… couldn’t sleep. Couldn’t close vertical blinds because of the opening where the window was suppose to be… was making a noise with the wind pushing it against the frame !! Again ../couldn’t sleep and we paid almost R6000 for one night ! Total rip off !!! Our unit looks like it was 1/2 way refurb rest of building old and dirty !!! Linen too small for the bed….

There’s nothing we didn’t like! Other than the gym facility being a bit meager, but as to be expected for any hotel gym.

The Ambassador hotel was a wonderful surprise for the value. Very clean, very quiet, friendly staff, incredible beach access and location. We might just make this place an annual habit from now on. Staying here for our honeymoon was perfect. Wade and Briana at the Ambassador Grille, along with the other guests, made our stay welcoming and romantic! We couldn’t be happier with our choice in hotel.
