The telephone, window shades, and some of the lamps were not working in our room, so just small things that need to get fixed. The main light switch either didn't work or didn't have a purpose. Not the best lighting in the room but we still got by.

The location was perfect, close to downtown but also secluded enough. The room was very clean and it had that older deadwood feel which we loved. The room we were put in was smaller and not shown in the pics but it was still very nice.

Room was noisy being on the street side. Had to go to another hotel to check in/out and to have breakfast.

The room was well furnished. I liked the atmosphere of the room. Room was clean. Parking on site.

Not knowing that you had to drive to different location to check in or for complimentary breakfast. The entrance lobby was dusty and dirty from street. The stairs for hauling luggage as there was no elevator. Lights on stairs in room were half burnt out and made it hard to distinguish the steps. Some people may have felt unsafe with the fire escape stairs right outside window.

The close proximity to Main Street and restaurants. Secure, free off road parking.

The bathroom was clean but showing age and our room faced the street so there was a bit of road noise.

The room was unique and comfortable all while being in a great location!

We arrived at the address and were a bit surprised at the building + the note to check in at the hotel down the street. I checked in no problem and then headed to the room. It was a great room with a bedroom, kitchenette & living room. Very comfortable, my only complaint was that it needed a good dusting. It was central and were were able to walk to dinner and breakfast the next day.

My hotel rating would have been much higher. I only had one significant complaint. My room was along a busy street and they had a window mounted A/C unit with styrofoam fillers on both ends of the A/C. This made for a very noisy room as traffic moved by.

We liked the restored building and the feeling of being in an apartment during our stay. Although we did not really see the staff while we were there, we didn't need much! A little confusion when we first arrived as there was no mattress on the hideaway. Got fixed when we were put in another room! Thank you.

That the building had history & was decorated with that in mind.

Everything was great. One suggestion would be a fan in the room. They did have a portable A/C as well as central cooling... but a fan blowing air around would have been really nice.

Edge of the town, u had to check in at a different hotel, 17 narrow stairs to the 2nd floor, no elevator. Absolutely no staff on site.

The fact that it was a suite, living room w great furniture, sm kitchen area, additional bedroom!

Only thing if staying a few days or need anything extra (towels, etc)- you have to go to another hotel and request. Then took several hours to get them.

Suite was a nice large space. The bed was super comfy! Quiet! Nice short walk from Main Street. Parking was easy and close.

Small room. The kids slept on the extra bed, but we weren't sure if the sheets were washed. Check-in is in a different building than the room itself, which is not entirely convenient in the event of a storm.

Found few dead flies and some spots on bottom side of cushions. But ultimately, was nice stay.

It was quiet, close to all locations. much better than standard hotel with tons of noise, slamming doors.

The curtains didn't do a good job of blocking out the light and the living room area had a nice skylight but again made it bright so I would recommend bringing a sleep mask. The noise from traffic. It was very noisy with traffic in the early morning. This seemed to come from the window with the AC unit which my guess is in the winter they remove it so may be quieter then.

Had it's own parking on site which from talking with others in deadwood seems to be an issue as parking can be blocks away for other hotels. Really cool look and feel. Great location. Clean.

Bathroom ceiling was leaking when we got there and told checkin lady about it. It leaked all night and all next day too. The bathroom floor was so sticky I had to wear my shoes every time I went in there. Also only one towel and all the bathroom products like shampoo etc had been used before us and left there.
