The room was like sleeping in your own bedroom at home. It was very organized to check in and out, even without a front desk. I felt safe staying there, even though I was a solo traveler. Highly recommend.

The beds were not the most comfortable, and the bar upstairs can be loud! Neither of these are reason enough for me to stay elsewhere! Earplugs are easy to use, and honestly the pros FAR outweigh the cons.

I was travelling for work (from Nevada) so honestly, the location was the selling point for me! I was travelling for work but being a 5-minute walk to the beach were the perfect way to start my day! I was able to get up, walk down to the beach, hit a little coffee shop on my way back and then go on about my day! Once I was done working - I could go down for sunset! The location is great, especially if you are there on Thursdays and enjoy a good market! The facility is super cute!

Honestly, I can't think of anything

Okay many things: 1. Exceptionally clean hotel - from the entrance to the room 2. 24/7 customer service is available, we texted few times and got responses within minutes! 3. The design of this hotel is something. It is such a fresh thing - like Ace when they just started but even better. Colors, amenities - I can tell how much work was put in there int terms of designing. 4. Location is absolutely prime - tiny walk to the beach and all the central restaurants and bars are nearby. 5. Little perks showing they are truly value the customer and wants them back! Like they give a free coffee at the cafe nearby and a complimentary drink at the local restaurant !

The fan thing above the bed drove me insane, we couldn't get the temperature in the room right. Also, I don't know if I love being locked in the building without any office people for help. We knew that going in though, and it's just our personal feelings. The place really was awesome.

Great location for downtown Oceanside. The only downside was the parking, and the fact that the building is really old, so you can hear everything. Absolutely beautiful though, and very well taken care of.

Room was pretty small. There was a strong disinfectant/freshener smell in the hallways and elevator.

Super charming & well designed hotel, great location (walking distance to restaurants, cafes and the beach), friendly staff, manager was very helpful, gave us access to F45 classes and yoga classes on the rooftop. The welcome drink on the rooftop bar and welcome coffee at the cafe downstairs were a nice touch!

Beautiful restoration! Comfortable bed, couch, chair. Great shower. This hotel is the result obviously of a labor of love. Surprisingly inexpensive. Clean!!

A drawer to stash clothes. To save space, maybe a night stand with a couple of drawers. The Q&A restaurant didn't honor our free-drink tickets, but the restaurant food was great.

The hotel had major cool factor because of style and location. Ease of check-in/check-out was a plus too!

If you arrive on a Thursday the Sunset Market is on and there's no parking close to the hotel, but it's not a long walk. The parking structure is a block away but it's free the whole time you stay at the Brick.

Original brick is used in the rooms which makes the decor unique. Warm sunny room with a great view of the city. Centrally located to most of the best restaurants in downtown. Keyless entry, no front desk but didn't need it, they're a text away from any kind of help needed. Look for the complimentary coffee card in the room. Best coffee in town.
