Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe only thing that made me uncomfortable was the gigantic mirror facing the bed. Personally, I don’t keep mirrors in my room on purpose for my spiritual beliefs but it was a really lovely room otherwise.

United StatesThe digital nature of the hotel just wasn’t my thing. I hated having to keep looking at my phone to figure out when I could check in/get my access code and for messages from concierge. There’s something comforting about having a front desk downstairs - kind of odd to have a bunch of strangers have access to the same building but with no staff there at all. Didn’t like that you had to cough up $50+ to check in early even if it was 30 minutes earlier
The coach house is perfectly situated - comfortable walking distance to the center of town but far enough away from all the excitement to relax. It was also very clean and comforting; I loved the makeup towel that was provided

United StatesSeveral hours after checking out, I was contacted by Marley accusing us of breaking a vase and saying I would be charged $50.00 for a supposedly broken vase that was “found” by the cleaning staff. When I refuted this she stated that she could send pictures as evidence even though we did not break a vase. Given this event I could not ever recommend this place

United StatesI was texted by the owner because the people that were in the room below us kept complaining that they could hear us walking around. like he texted us when we were trying to go to sleep and when we were barely awake. it’s hardly a valid complaint. when you check in you are sent a very abrasive document that you have to sign along with your card number. it allows them to charge your card if they decide that you stained sheets or got lipstick on the pillow. it assumes that guests are going to destroy their room. and at this point you can’t cancel, so you are kind of stuck having to sign this. it’s a ‘digital boutique’ which is code for they don’t have a staff on sight to make you feel welcome or to help with anything. instead you have big brother sending you texts. the fire alarm went off while we were there and we all had to wait outside. not sure what set it off. but the owner texted us to say the fire department was on its way. it was a very odd experience. I didn’t ever feel relaxed because I was paranoid that my two toddlers would accidentally spit up on anything resulting in us being billed for it. I was very happy we weren’t staying there multiple nights. after we left the owner texted again because he couldn’t find something in the room. I was waiting to be accused or something and charged. thank God I wasn’t. the room itself was nice and clean, as was the bathroom- but you won’t feel welcome or at home here.

The rooms are beautiful and very clean and quiet. We were on the first floor near the entrance and barely heard anyone else. Great use of space and we loved the small touches like having a charging station by each bed!

United StatesThe bed was terrible and the temp of the room is freezing as well as hearing people above us being loud on the floor and could hardly hear our movie. We barely slept with how uncomfortable the bed and the room not being cozy.
