No shower, but the handheld in the tub works fine.

This old post-bellum mansion is so charming, as is the owner. We stayed in Quarters two, an old slave room transformed into an incredibly nice space with a big bathroom with a huge soaking tub. Plus, they even offered Netflix if you have an account. The gardens are lovely, and we took a bottle of wine and some snacks and enjoyed them on the patio. We were sorry we had to leave early and miss the included breakfast. If you seek the charm of the old South, stay here.

The bath tub didn't have a shower hose was difficult to wash up. The airconditioner was noisy

The historic mansion was beautiful and gave us a feel of the past. Macy the host was exceptional. She was very welcoming with a lot of advice as of what to do in Vicksburg and gave us an interesting tour of the house. Breakfast was very good

Neighbors were yelling and garbage piled up in their yards. Didn't feel very safe. The check in was awkward - the employee seemed irritable and could have used a more welcoming welcome.

Breakfast was great! The tour was great - actually incredible. Host was very pleasant - really enjoyed the company at breakfast.

Our room was nice, but the garden in front of our garden view was very overgrown. Would be much nicer if trimmed back for better visibility. The garden view around the back of the house was very lovely.

We really enjoyed learning about the property, history and breakfast. At check-in, Macy greeted us with a great visitor’s guide and flash drive for the National Military Park tour. Great experience.

It’s very lush and green there, but that means insects like mosquitoes.

Wasn’t comfortable walking by myself after dark the few blocks to the historic district.

Macy was the ultimate hostess!! She provides a welcoming environment, was flexible with check in times and provided a lovely sit down breakfast - made by herself! She provided a tour of the home with historical knowledge. Would highly recommend. I had the “library room” which was quite cozy!

Our room was upstairs, so if you're not able to do stairs, request a lower room.

This was a marvelous and historical place. Macy filled us in on the history and fed us an amazing breakfast. We had an amazing view of the Mississippi River from our veranda. It was like stepping back in time, but with modern amenities. The extra bonus is that it's dog friendly.

The room we had was a hole in the wall, the stairs to the awful room were straight up. It was a chore to get the luggage up. The room was small with nasty carpet. I’ve never stayed in a room that bad!

There was no shower, only a tub. No phone in the room, no easy access to room without using steps, no power outlets on or near nightstands. And the parking lot was a block away.

Breakfast only served at 9 AM so I couldn’t stay.

Landscaping was horrific and in need of weeding and trimming. Outside needed painting. Staff was rude. We Clearly put on our reservation we had a pet, after we checked out and was continuing our vacation to Florida we received a call from manager/owner screaming at me because we didn't remind her of pet. Very rude and disrespectful. View was not as described. Balcony looked unstable.

Advertised as Historic and the breakfast was good.

Unsafe neighborhood, unkept property not mowed for weeks, dead flowers in hanging baskets on front porch. Beat up trucks with trash parked nearby, can’t believe it’s rated 4 star..concerned with Covid- if outside was this bad what cleanliness of inside would be.

Nothing - decided did not feel safe at this location.
