Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesI just had one incident with a staff member at the bar that I needed to address, due to her ignoring me while I sat waiting patiently for her to come to take my drink order, instead she serviced a couple that came way after me. I complained to the manager & he apologized & rectified the situation by sending another staff member to take my order which she was very nice and attentive
The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The pool areas were very nice and the majority of the staff were very attentive.

BrazilNoisy and loud DJ in pool, either from hotel or from next door neighbor hotel. Service in pool excellent for chair and towels, but waiter forgot to bring me soda that I asked with a burger that I ate.
Perfect location for South beach, just in the , clean bedrooms and bath, comfy beds. Pool is beautiful ans convenient passage to the beach, where they have chairs and towels to guests. Saturday night they had an amazing pianist/ singer in the lobby bar

United KingdomMiami is an expensive city. The hotel location is great , by the beach. The swimming pool are very warm - it could be a touch colder and I love warm water. I found the prices for the cocktails very expensive. $25.00 + tip + Tax for a pisco sour - pre made from a machine. I live in London and if I go to a 5 star hotel & they would make the cocktail in front of me and I'd probably pay less. The hotel also charges you a 'resort fee' $41.00 per day +tax which they say it's for the beach towels and service. Umbrella is extra charge. I found that fee a rip off as you are charged regardless if you use the beach or not. The hotel itself looks like it was something amazing long time ago however the rooms look tired. The staff was very friendly. There's Lincoln street close by for shopping and food. I'd shop around next time I visit as I think you can find better options for the price.

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, great pool with lots of places to sit and lie down, great service at the pool. The hotel has reserved sunbeds on the beach a minute from the hotel, which can be reached through the "back exit". Nice night atmosphere in the bar and restaurant by the pool.

SwitzerlandTh room was rather small and the overall feeling of the hotel is 3 stars, not 4. Moreover, we purchased the option with breakfast included. Yet, it was just a credit of USD 44.99 for 2 people. So on average, our breakfast bill was USD 85 with service and tax charges, then minus the credit of USD 44.99.
We liked the location and the cafe on premises.

United StatesI wish I had known about the music festival that was happening the weekend we were there. It was pretty annoying for us non-festival goers. Pool area was consumed with a stage set up, it was quite loud and we couldn't access the beach out the back door. Also, beach food/beverage was impacted. This was our third or fourth stay at the National, and while it was fine, it was my least favorite one.
The staff was really kind and helpful. I injured my foot on the last day and they were so accommodating. We had two excellent breakfasts there. The location is great.
