The TV cable was confusing. There should have been a railing on the outside steps.

The cottage was.clean and comfortable with a nice front porch to sip coffee and visit with Hugo, the resident cat. Beds were comfortable and the amenities good - air conditioning, ice maker in refrigerator - and plenty of restaurants nearby. When we had an accident on the outside steps, the manager and staff were very responsive. Although we were warned about traffic noise, it did not bother us at all.

Love the separate cottages with green space in between. The cottage we stayed in was quite large with a sofa and king size bed. Love the porches and original features!

Host was very sweet. Cabin clean and accommodating but very small. Definitely shabby chic. Only complaint is bed was not comfortable. Needs new mattress. Cabin worked out great for us with our senior dog.

Can't think of a thing! Wished we would have stayed more than one night.

Number 11 was absolutely adorable with plenty of room. The living room was very comfortable and we were able to pull up Netflix with no issues which is usually a problem or not available with chain hotels. The property was very quiet even though two main roads are nearby. Everything we needed for the kitchen was available and an excellent grocery store right down the road.

The drain in the shower ran slow so it felt kinda weird stepping out of a puddle. The only thing that was an issue.

    Solitude, quiet, very nice pillows.

There was nothing that I didn’t like, but I love the rustic and romantic charm of what the cottage was. But a warning to those expecting. 5 star pampering, this is not a choice for you. These cottages were built and maintained to have their 1930’s charm. You will not find 6 head showers, central heat and air or USB ports everywhere.

The cottage was a throwback to my childhood days of summer camps. Knotted pine paneling and in phenomenal shape for their age. It was apparent every where you look that a lot of love goes into maintaining the property. The staff was exceptionally friendly and most helpful.

My heat cut off several times during the night and it was chilly.

My mattress was sooooo comfortable-much better than my mattress at home. I loved the shabby chic look and some of the repurposed furniture.I had my own cottage and it was so cozy at the top of the hill and quiet. We complimented the house keeper on the cleanliness. (other family stayed in other cottages)

Not much, bathrooms can be a little tight but they are old restored road cabins. Gas heat is a little finicky at times being to hot or cold .

Fairly quiet and personal. Cozy. Close to downtown yet far enough away.

The only complaint I have is the road noise. I didn't realize how much noise they would pick up. The property is on a hill, and it's not directly on the road but must be due to the location that it sounds like it's closer than it is. I know that unfortunately, there's nothing you can do about that. I did appreciate having earplugs provided to help drown out the sounds - that was a nice touch to address the problem! Between using ear plugs and a white noise playlist, I was still able to get great sleep.

Cute little cottage had everything I needed and then some. Appreciated the extra details for pets! Nice big main room and full-service little kitchen. The shower head was amazing! The King bed felt like an XL - like a King Plus. It was nice to be able to sit on the spacious porch, too. And I loved having a little driveway private to our cottage. Felt like a tiny village.

Cottage was fairly nice for the price. I didn't expect it to be backed up to the interstate though. Kitchen could use a little more in the way of pots and pans and utensils. Really my only complaint was the shower. The floor of it felt like it could fall in any second but it was clean.

A little bit of highway noise, but they provided earplugs on the nightstand. Also, the driveway into the cabins is very steep and narrow, and the parking space was angled a little tricky. But hey, that's just part of the experience if you're renting a cabin in the mountains!

Cute little old cottage, short drive to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. Nearby and Ingles Supermarket and a few great little restaurants and coffee shops Rebecca at the office was super friendly and helpful. We loved the fireplace!
