It would add to the experience to have a heating vent to turn on after one takes a shower. It can get cold after. Also, a blower. Two of the pillows did not have pillowcases and it smelled like a human head.

I like the property. It has everything we need for a comfortable stay. It is also clean. There are a options for one to enjoy the stay, such as the jacuzzi or the pool. It’s entirely enjoyable!!

Great property in a great location. So peaceful yet not fully isolated as it close to the Joshua tree centre and national park entrance. The property was really spacious for 5 adults staying for the weekend. Lovely outdoor space where we spend the majority of the weekend using the BBQ and relaxing outdoors in the shade. Everything was made easy to check in and lots of lovely touches in the property to make it a comfortable stay.

Everything was great. The house was very well equipped and very comfortable for our family of four. We had a great time, relaxing with a barbecue and watching the sunset from the Jacuzzi. Contact with the owners was also amazing ❤️.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. We had a wonderful time staying there and would gladly stay again.

We were so delighted to stay at The Stargaze. The rooms were open, spacious, and clean. The beds were just so comfortable. We really appreciated the quick and attentive responses from the host. The real treat was seeing the spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the house which sits high above Joshua Tree.

This was a big and last-minute splurge in our penultimate location of a 3 week road trip. My friend and I had been sharing rooms mostly and wanted space, a pool (got a FABULOUS hot tub) and a bit of luxury ..... we got that in spades! We had pondered the expense - but it was so so worth it in comparison to getting a hotel in the area. (and it was only really an expense because we were 2 people in a 6 person house!! - If you're looking to go away with friends or family this is GREAT value) Was a blissful night. We went to the local supermarket to buy supper which was consumed with the lovely wine which was there to greet us. All that you need is here, beds are super comfy, the house is gorgeous and then there's just sitting in the hot tub looking at the stars.

Lovely house in a quiet place with a beautiful view of the landscape. All facilities were good, and I especially enjoyed that every thing you needed was there. You really feel taken care of. The coffee was great!

All went wrong: -Lengthy, cumbersome and misleading online check-in process -tv screen 100% broken, no replacement despite commitments to do so -toilets outlet leaking - disgusting. No attendance despite commitments to do so -kitchen cookware of poor quality -stove dirty and barely working, leaking gas -hundreds of text messages to deliver promises to correct - no action at all. Liars -I have complained to booking.com. They also promised to grant me a discount but no action either I am 3 Genius Level 3 but i have never booked again via booking since then

The fact that I could copy and paste the review from a week before us is a bit disappointing…. They mentioned the broken toilet, and it’s still leaking…. They mentioned the tv was broken… it’s still broken? (TVs are like a couple hundred bucks…way less than we paid to stay) They mentioned screen door is broken…. It’s still broken. There is a “For Sale” sign in the front yard, so it feels like whoever owns/runs the property is just over it and doesn’t care to keep it up for fix anything anymore. Also- We had 2 people, my wife and I….and we were only left 2 towels, 1 each… for a 5 day 4 night stay…. And the laundry room is locked so we couldn’t even wash them….?? Front door is an automated lock that kept giving us a “low battery message” so we were a bit nervous to lock the house when leaving out of fear of being locked out. Also couldn’t get the hot water in the kitchen to work, only cold. Just in the kitchen. So had to wash dishes with cold water.. Not to be nit picky, I don’t consider myself high maintenance… but these are pretty basic things. And they know about them already, that’s my main issue. We ended up leaving a day early… They did respond quickly… even though they knew of all my concerns already after seeing previous reviews.

We made them aware of our arrival time but when we arrived the house was pitch black. The kitchen sliding door was very difficult to open and the frame was breaking off. The TV was broken and not useable. The hallway bathroom also started leaking at the base. None of the issues were addressed during our stay.

There is NO air conditioning in the house (there is a swamp cooler, but it barely works). At night, it did not cool below 92F (33C), so we barely slept. The windows only opened with difficulty due to dust from the area (which is typical from the area, though). We also had to contact the owner about five times because we couldn't get the door open (worked through a Wi-Fi system). Fortunately, however, we always got a quick reply. After we placed the booking, we were also contacted via whatsapp by scammers (posing as middle agency). We luckily realised this quickly and contacted booking.com, although this was never responded to. All in all, many frustrations during this stay, despite the high price we paid (but that was also because there were only 2 of us, while the house is for many more people).

nice house, good (secluded) location, clean, good beds, pool to cool down, easy communication with the owner, good coffee/tea facilities, big fridge.
