Very little. Perhaps that the elevators were weirdly far away?

TownePlace has quickly become a favorite hotel line, and this property is no exception. Comfortable, well run, considerate and welcoming pretty much across the board.

We paid for the upgraded Wi-Fi and it never worked. I wish I could get my money back for that.

The breakfast service with Miss Adie was phenomenal! Both mornings, she truly made our stay. Her cheery smile and can-do attitude were such a nice way to start our day, and she made sure my 3 little boys got plenty of fresh bananas, Texas shaped waffles, and chocolate milk! And the space was spotlessly clean and fully stocked, even at the busiest times. Also, the manager Brice was so friendly and helpful, truly going above and beyond the call of duty to be sure we were happy guests. This team and their well-kept hotel reminded us of why we appreciate true Texas hospitality!!

Booked in middle of rehab as rooms and facility was getting updated so had to deal with noise and contractors mess. Was charged for King size bed room but mattress was queen dimension-was able to get room rate adjusted. Bathroom could use more led's to brighten it up. would like to see a bigger pool and updated better equipped fitness center.

-2nd year in a row I have booked at this facility. Warren, assist GM, provides great customer service. -convenient location as its near a Walmart and CFA, and P. Exp. -enjoyed full kitchen especially large fridge. -cold pool but out of courtesy towels.

Not a thing. Everything worked.

Breakfast was fine. Coffee was terrific. Attentive staff kept everything full. A full breakfast with hot food is essential especially to families who count on a first meal as part of the room cost to keep the cost of food while traveling down. Nice Marriott establishment and very responsive staff when we had a problem with the television at night. Kudos to everyone in Abilene.

The power went out from 12:30am until checkout. It was really hot, no windows, no nothing, no emergency light in the room. No breakfast, ok they give us some stuff to eat but not what I paid for.

It said it had a 9.1 cleanliness rating but it was not that clean. The doors and trim around the doors were very dirty. The furniture in the room needed to be cleaned. The entire floor, including our room, smelled of food. And not in a good way.

It had rooms that would sleep a family of 5.

TV has missing pixels or refractors therefore there were bright dots on the screen. Hallways and stairs were not vacuumed during are stay. Saw the same crushed crackers during our stay. Would like to see a change up o of hot food daily.

Halls were quiet. Convenient to eateries. Staff friendly and helpful.

I booked my room, a king studio, on Sunday Aug. 15th. At that time there were 5 king studio rooms available. When we arrived, the hotel had bumped us down to a double queen. They allow dogs, and the room smelled of dog pee. We complained about it and at first they were not going to change our room. After showing the them the conformation from Aug 15th and more complaining they finally put us in the only King room they had left. It was a handicap room but at least it didn’t smell like dog pee. First time I have ever been bumped to a lower room on a Booking reservation, not happy at all about being bumped. Considering switching to Priceline or Expedia to hopefully prevent this from happening again.

We stayed for 2 nights, and the maid service didn't come and collect our dirty towels and replace them, or take the trash. I understand that with the covid, you are required to request room service, we did, however there was a lady cleaning the room next to ours and she gave us more towels and wash cloths.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was comfortable, clean, and smelled good. It was as described on the website. Swimming pool and weight room were great!
