Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

United StatesThere is nothing to complain about in terms of the hotel - it was beautiful in every way. I have plenty to complain about regarding booking.com. Booking.com (in 3 different places) stated that this room had 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. Wrong!! We were 3 adults who don't sleep together so we needed separate beds. There were only 2 beds - no sofa bed. I had to purchase an air mattress and pump (went without sheets) from Walmart and slept on the floor of the room. Booking .com owes me a refund!!!
Hotel was only 6 months old. Very nice, very clean, very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great - plenty of choices.

United StatesOn your website it show studio pic with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. When we got in our room there was a chair no sofa bed. We had to Hinton Walmart and buy a cot for my grandson to sleep on. I told front desk but nothing could b done because manager wasn’t there. I felt I should have gotten a discount on the room.we paid almost 1000$ for 2 nights. U need to look at the site and remove pics of items that aren’t in your rooms.
Great breakfast but u need to hav egg whites too. ( allergic to yolks). Location was great.

United StatesA new hotel so be patient as their are some things they are working on as far the pool not being heated. Also noticed bathroom sink leaking on our morning of ck out. But brought it to Terry & she got right on it getting the correct staff to go ck on it. If you need you garbage picked up you do need to call. I wasn't aware of that until we were out all day & came back to garbage still being in room. They said because of Covid. It is a pet friendly hotel and we saw plenty of them. But our room was very clean no hair.
Customer service was exceptional from the front desk, to the f&b staff that organized breakfast to housekeeping. And Terry was always very helpful anytime we needed something.

United StatesBesides the toaster, the coffee maker in the room seemed to also not be working. The water flow in the shower was barely a light sprinkle. It took several minutes to shower. The evening desk clerk seemed desperately bored and wishing he could be anywhere else. Not the best first impression.
The breakfast was middle of the road comfort food. Fresh and warm. The toaster blew a fuse however. It couldn't be fixed because nobody had a key to the room with the fuse box. POOR organizing.
