How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The toilet in the bathroom felt alittle unsecure. Wobbled when touching it.
Where the hotel is located is great if you are going to the square. Beds were comfy and staff are great

Room cost more than what I was told on the booking site. I was told 255 including tax for 3 nights ended up paying over 270 .
Location was great for going to the visitors center and around the town square. Employees were extremely friendly and helpful we run into storms driving in and they held my room until almost 11 before I checked in. Breakfast was ok.

Totally opposite of what I experienced from the older front desk staff, after driving 6 hours to the hotel from NC. Upon arriving, the front desk clerk was pleasant, didn't smile, didn't ask how was my trip which didn't make me feel welcome. Not a great way to start your stay after a long tiring trip. That's why I can't give a perfect score. Thanks
I thought the older front desk lady was very accommodating and tried to make sure you stay was pleasant.

One staff member was rude, and this location overcharged me. When i first checked in, i booked online. They told me Georgia tax was not included, but at other locations its included if you book online. I will never stay at this location again.

The shower was not hot at all. This one thing caused my stay in this location not To be enjoyable. Also sleeping on the first floor ment I hade to listen to footsteps. There could be better insulation or sound absurdity.

The tv had ads popping up all over the screen like it was sitting in Walmart still. There was only a universal remote. We couldn't fix it.
It was close to the interstate.

The receptionist was very rude when we checked in. The room was not the cleanest and the comote was coming off the floor.

The room smelled really bad. The bed and curtains had stains on them. The bathroom had dead bugs on the floor and I think there was some dead bugs on the wall.
The location was great because it was close to everything I needed to go to.

That they ran my credit card like five times and it took like 700 dollars off my card at once

I liked everything, although I am not sure my suggestion will work or not. But I wanted to propose some cooked options for breakfast. There was plenty but still I wanted something which is eatable for veg n nonveg both people (e.g. Hash brown, potato fries etc)
I was happy with the location as well as cleanliness. It's the great place to stay if you there as TVD fans. Mystic Grill & Clock Tower location in downtown which was within 3 miles. Also, multiple options for food (Waffle House, Taco and 2-3 more) were on walking from hotel. Walmart also on walking. Hotel & room both were super clean. All the basic amenities were there in good working condition. I will prefer more lights in room but that's personal choice. Room n bed was really cozy n comforting.

Noise-There was some noise from outside and upstairs from other visitors at the hotel.
The hotel location is great. It is clean considering it is an older hotel. We did not eat there only because we were busy the 1st day and decided to eat next door @ the Waffle House the 2nd day.

Overall we had a great stay, but the checkout time was showed as 11am and at 9am the cleaning staff knocked hard at the door several times. It bothered us and we ended up leaving earlier than planned cause we couldn’t go back to sleep.
The location it’s perfect, right across the parking lot there’s a Waffle House and a bit further an IHOP. It was easy to check in and the bed was really comfortable.

Service was stopped at 9 for breakfast. On Saturday it didn’t even start till 7!!!!
Didn’t have breakfast. Ended at 9 which I think I’d too early. Why not offer it till 10?

The shower didn't come on with ease. We where watched while we ate and also where rushed out.

The carpet in room 221 was not very clean. We found one cockroach.
