Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe only thing that could be improved on is the window coverings did not stop much light. It was bright in our room from the outside lights.
Rooms were beautiful. Breakfast was great. Milk and cookies were outstanding and a nice surprise. The exterior was also beautiful. For being downtown there wasn't much noise at all.

Breakfast was hot and flavorful. Coffee was great and they had a nice assortment of teas. The staff assured they refilled items as they were dwindling so no one was without food at any time. There were also free fruit options.

United States of AmericaThe only thing negative is the sofa bed was very uncomfortable for the two older kids. However, most sofas beds are not comfortable to begin with.
We are a family of six. Four of the six are children. We stayed in one of the family suites and it was so spacious for our size of family. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were very clean. We enjoyed the old feel and decor of the historic building.

United States of AmericaMy only issue was that it was a little noisy. The rooms are designed (an exposed pipe near ceiling to the next room which wasn’t “sealed.”. There was a gap and sound from the next room was clear as day. A little caulking around pipes and drywall might help with that.
I loved that there was always someone at the front desk. The breakfast selection was extensive- cold cereal, instant oatmeal, scrambled eggs, bacon. sausage, biscuits and gravy. There were also freshly made muffins, danish, and bread to toast. You could eat there or grab it to go which I was glad was an option twice during my 4 day stay. They had wine & cheese from 5-7 and then cookies (chocolate chip most nights) and milk (8 oz bottles) from 8-9 pm. Even though the stay wasn’t a vacation, these added things made it feel more enjoyable. The staff - those replenishing food in buffet breakfast, cleaning rooms and lobby/lounge area, and all the desk staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and genuinely hospitable. If I am back this way, I will definitely rebook. I used up the one K-cup of coffee (decaf, half caffeine and tea K-cups) and asked if I could get a second one. The young man came back with 4 of the full caffeine cups. From check-in to check-out, the staff really excelled.

United States of AmericaThis is a beautiful property with spacious and clean rooms. Loved the cookies and milk in the evenings. This may need to be a new tradition at home! Staff was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious. We were needing a location near the hospital because my sister was having surgery. This was convenient to hospital and many locations.
